@@spider-mankindacool5619 That's true...but unfortunately no one speaks as clear as him in everything and speaks so in depth in our area.Really hope this type of sayings and speakings will be introduced or a way will appear so that teachings of great scholars like him of this time will get easily understood by us and also be well spreaded....hope.Against all the backbiting that is happening.

I've always wondered why all these sacred places (Arafah, Mina, Muzdalifah) have feminine names.. and Brother Abdal Hakim has a delightful opinion to it.

It interesting about the kaba being the first terrestrial point out of the primordial sea.
That reminds me of the Ancient Egyptian theological episode where Ptah (the primordial mound) arose out of Nun (the primordial sea).
It's even more interesting when you see that Ancient Egyptian word Ptah (F-T-H) shares the same etymological root with the Arabic word Fatiha.. They both mean to open or the opening..
Alhamdulilah Al-Ftah, The Lord of the worlds.

    Follow the crescent banner
    to the Sacred Sanctuary
    a thousand oil-lamps there
    mirror the star-strewn sky.
For forty days in the desert
    the world slowly vanishes
    to be finally washed away
    with the waters of Zamzam.
    Far and wide you traveled
to see the Mother of Cities
    to don the seamless garments
    and enter the First House.

    harbor a million wayfarers
    like yours a million hearts
eager to dote on the Beloved. (F.C.V.)

Great talk. Always pays to be quiet and listen as you will always learn something. Does any one know if the teacher spoke about the primordial origins of the black stone in makkah. In India it is taught as history that a meteor split into many pieces and one of them is the black stone of the kabba. The other pieces of the meteor landed in ancient india and are revered as signs of the god Shiva/Mahadev.
