Katelyn is a student at North Dakota State University, double majoring in social work and human development and family science with a minor in psychology. As a teenager, Katelyn struggled with depression and anxiety and she turned to pornography to cope, which ultimately further fueled feelings of depression, anxiety, shame, and eventually suicidal ideation.
In this episode, Katelyn sits down with podcast host, Garrett Jonsson, to talk about her struggle with pornography, the role shame played in her compulsion, and how she’s since been able to let go of shame and begin her recovery.
