I like to think that ShLep used to be Cherubble's sleep paralysis demon but all ShLep wanted to do was harmonize with the baby.

YES! thank you! as soon as a saw shLep it instantly became one of my favorite monster designs in the game *because* of how “creepy” and unorthodox it is compared to many other monsters. frankly, i don’t think it would look totally

I kinda like ShLep ,they look like an eldritch being came up from the abyss, and instead of installing madness in the minds of monsters, she decided to just jam out, she also looks a sweet grandma that you love, but feel uncomfortable hugging because they look wrinkly and gross and smell like medicine, unwashed couch cushions, and dog treats

Your interpretations are all really interesting and cool to think about, and I'm amazed by just how much research you did for my funny little guys!
The luck aspects of the monster were admittedly completely accidental, the physical dreams were referred to as lucky charms as a joke during development and the rhinophores weren't initially meant to look like rabbit ears, but I fully support those creative interpretations!

This may sound weird, but given cherubbles almost infant like apppearance, and Shleps feminine eyes and worms, I think it might not be Cherubbles nightmare.
Maybe cherubble dreamt of Schlep as its mother. And just like how mother birds feed worms to their babies, maybe Schlep is just preparing food for Cherubble
One theory I saw was about the dream ShLep was pulled from. If one pays attention, the beads in ShLep’s abdomen are the same color as Cherubble’s blubberflies. This could mean that it was pulled from a nightmare about a monster (ShLep) eating the blubberflies.
One possible name for ShLep is Beazley. Beazley itself is a surname among many people, and derives from the Beasley family of Lacanshire, NW England. It could also reference the word bee, which ShLep itself resembles, (especially the bumblebee) since the monster is a fat-bodied insect that tends to bumble about. However, given Cherubble’s angelic origins and ShLep’s nightmarish, animalistic abomination of an appearance, Beazley could also reference Beezlebub. Beezlebub being a prominent demon in Abrahamic religions often as another name for Satan or as a separate “Prince of Gluttony”/“Lord of the Flies.” It also fits nicely with how ShLep has the Charms within itself (like how it may have overeaten them) and how it resembles an abominable fly. It further makes it the perfect counterpart for the Angelic Cherubble.
I actually quite adore ShLep’s design because it’s just so unique and strange looking, but that’s coming from somebody who is a massive lover of bugs.

The night shLep was created (tonight) I literally had a nightmare
One thing I noticed is that Chereubble shared the same group of instruments as Woolabee and shares the color scheme on Congo's drum. It should also be noted that the previous mythical Strombonin has the color scheme of Bowgart and his instrument is part of the same group as Spunge. So by that logic, the next mythical will likely be another pair of tris with one parent passing down their color scheme and the other passing down what type of instrument the mythical plays. By that logic, I predict that the most likely next mythical will go to earth island and will be a hybrid of Thumpies due to mythical island lacking a true percussionist while also having either Reedling's or Pom Pom's color scheme, most likely Reedling since Cranchee already matches the quota for a pink monster and we usually have a monster with some combination of green and brown colorings.
it plays a rock organ so it could be reedling as a parent for the instrument family

Cherubble is baby cute, but ShLep is a solid MONSTER (aside from the marshmellows), something we haven't really gotten since the Wublins.

While I do like how ShLep is unique and has a pretty creative terminology for its name, I just have a new soft spot for Cherruble because holy heck are they just cute and I like their design! I like both of their designs!
I like the Cherubble but I have to say I quite enjoy the ShLep! I don't know what it is about It's design, but It's extremely intriguing and much more interesting than most of the Monster designs (Though every monster is unique and can be enjoyed in their own way I think ShLep is by far the most unique). I feel like it quite perfectly captures how dreams can be strange and weird at times while still having that element of wonder to them. All around this monster has definitely become one of my favourites and I like what It adds to It's song!
(A little personal headcanon of mine that the ShLep is actually very nice like the Epic Glowl, it just looks a little off putting on the outside.)
I really like the design for ShLep, it just shows that not all monsters have to be cute or creepy. It's a monster anyways, it's cool to have more unsettling ones!

Something you missed: Cherubble’s Fire Oasis sound is a reference to the very niche Evenfall Evidice island, specifically Permafreggi’s sound. They’re both extremely similar.

The capital L in shLep (this could be a massive coincidance) may also come from the Polish "lep na muchy" which is the sticky strings of fly atracting stickyness

Honestly ShLep has been growing on me pretty fast. I had the same first reaction when seeing it.
I love shleps design honestly, I think the the contrast of the just. God ugly fly creature and the cutsey pastel bead shakies is really funny, and is probably the whole point of the design :3

I think shLep is absolutely gorgeous, although I will admit cherubble is cuter, I love shLep so much. Cherubble is so quite and doesn’t add a lot to the song but OMG, shLep adds much needed percussion to the song and I love it. She is just so beautiful
I think trouble might be one of the connections in Cherubbles name, if you say Cherubble fast you get trouble, and leprechauns usually cause trouble and there’s the lucky charms stuff so yeah
or it could also sound like treble; a musical term!

ShLep is like Cranchee where it's design is inspired not by the monster itself but by it's symbiotic companion. Cranchee is a squishy mollusk much like Strombonin's strombone, and ShLep is a flying insect-like thing like Cherubble's blubberflies

I saw the shLep’s design as part nightmare and part happy dream from the cherubble, half of it being horrifying insect and the other being a sort of baby rattle, since cherubble has an infant or baby like nature i’d assume it would have a positive dream of something like a rattle, and because it’s already surrounded by other baby-like accessories like the harp playing soft music and the blubberflies almost resembling a baby’s mobile around the cherubble.

shlep is probably a air island mythical that never stayed on air island and then left to mythical island and then got hit by a dream ball and then slowly changed into the monster it is now. basically it was a yawstridge, then went to mythical island, got hit by a dream ball, had slowly lost the pink color, and then became more chubby and it had lost its legs and the legs turned into that stomach with old candy from air island.

I have a headcanon that ShLep was the first Dreamythical to come out wrong, as it was made by a monster who constantly sleeps. Not only that, but I predict that ShLep actually came from not one of Cherubble's dreams, but rather one of its nightmares.
Another thing to note is Cherubble's main monster with lucky charms on the back waking up when you put it to sleep, looks like the monster has conjunctivitis.
