I have a Harley Davidson Softail Standard and a Harley Davidson XL1200 Custom - both are A2 restricted. The Softail has lots of torque which is an advantage for me when ride with my wife. The speed limit in Switzerland is 120kmh and it's no problem to reach it. But it's kind of lame if you go faster. I'd say 155 kmh is the maximum speed of the Softail. The XL1200 doesn't have as much torque as the Softail but it reaches 150 kmh easily. I don't know how fast it could go. It's more fun to ride the XL1200 on the freeway, but the Softail is better suited for trips especially if you ride with a pillion.
