As a struggling entry trader..i can only be thankful to you for throwing so much guidance. and i m not talking about just this video. but your whole channel and you with the way you put up your experiences and advises. Been binge watching them in my free times and weekends. Hey where do you get your news from? By that I mean: on the calendar when big announcements are made (e.g. gdp, Interest rates etc.), where can I get quick news on the announcements?
mt4! look away and scroll back then look back and place trades candle by candle. record around 250 trades on a piece of paper and work out your profitability. not the greatest way but it works for me!!
I try to make my position trading unexciting. Following correct process can be quite boring. I don't take in any financial media. No TV or radio. No social media. Weekly charts with 3 moving averages, and trailing stop loss point. Filter out the world noise and just stick to price direction on a chart.
a bit ironic a vid is about removing the noise actually has really distracting background noise! :)

then u are not using correct risk management. you should be able to lose minimum 3 trades and make it all back from one trade

Zig Zag is good but using Renko Blocks really eliminates the noise !!!!

Can I ask what software can I use to backtest am trying trading view but they don't have a lot of historical data
I like using Metatrader - either MT4 or MT5. You can download a lot of past data and they have some good, simple backtesting features.
+The Duomo Initiative - Learn to Trade am testing patterns so I will have to go back manually does that work. Or is it some automated system.
You can go back manually with it too. Check it out, it's free with most major brokers.
