Hey! Can you tell me how did you get this google search console in your Yoast SEO WordPress installation wizard? Because I haven't got this in my setup. Please tell me.
Great video but when going through the configuration wizard, I was presented with far fewer steps than in this video. I never saw the Google Search Console step or any of that. I basically uploaded my company logo, filled in the social media URLs and chose a seperator. Shortly after that, the wizard was finished. And the wizard only consisted of only 8 steps, far fewer than what's shown in the video. Are you using the premium version or am I doing something wrong?

When I click on my property name in the Google Search Console it does not bring anything up...just refreshes the page. Any ideas? The Yoast SEO was already installed and set up by web developer.

Getting back into SEO etc after taking a break in 2009. Yeah its been awhile. I used to design my pages first in Frontpage then before leaving using Dreamweaver. When I needed to get better rankings I would update the meta tags keyword coumt etc etc etc.. Now that the engines have changed to get better rankings for a #70 ranking what should I fix? BTW I have about 4 blog posts at the moment.

Great video. I was stuck on yellow and red indicators and quickly was able to get all my indicators to green. Hoping this will translate into some great organic traffic. Hi I added Yoast to my word press site. However when going through the wizard when I select type of business ( Online) and enter, I get a blank page and it does'nt continue through to all the other set up qus? Any idea why? appreciate any help.
Id recommend 3 things: 1. Try using another browser i.e Chrome 2. Clear your history, cache and cookies, retest the builder 3. Disable/deactivate all your other plug-ins, retest.
@@HoganChua thankyou very much!! deactivating plugins worked. Posted blog and then reactivated all plugins. But looking at posts/pages Yoast set up doesn't show on post again. Is it OK to deactivate plugins, then set up post, then reactivate?
I have a wordpress free account, but it will not allow me to install pluggin with Yoast unless I upgraded to business like $25 a month. Are you paying Wordpress 25 a month?
You're using WordPress.com, vs. a self-hosted account probably. I made that mistake at first and had to set up a site using SiteGround and migrate the hosting over. Giant pain but now that it is done, it is done, and I have access to all these free plugins that are for some reason restricted with the .com version of WordPress. It's super frustrating, I know, but if you switch over now early in the process it will be so much easier going forward.

I got the same thing. I'm also using the free version. This video is also a year and a half old so maybe Yoast simplified the process.

I do have a question about the title tag. Although I edited for it to show the company name at the end, for some reason the company name appears at the beginning too. The weird thing is that the Yoast Google preview at the bottom of the page shows exactly the way I want my title tag to appear. What I am doing wrong?

Hi Hogan, Yoast SEO tool is only for Wordpress Business Plan??? Because through my wordpress account its showing i need to upgrade to Business Plan to install it? Can you suggest an alternative?
When you have a self-hosted Wordpress site, you can install the Yoast SEO plugin for free.
You should use wordrpess.org and not the wordpress.com :)

Yes it's necessary for ranking and helps a lot however, the results are not overnight. The plugin does not slow the load times at all.

Hi I added Yoast to my word press site. However when going through the wizard when I select type of business ( Online) and enter, I get a blank page and it does'nt continue through to all the other set up qus? Any idea why? appreciate any help.
Id recommend 3 things:
1. Try using another browser i.e Chrome
2. Clear your history, cache and cookies, retest the builder
3. Disable/deactivate all your other plug-ins, retest.
@@HoganChua thankyou very much!! deactivating plugins worked. Posted blog and then reactivated all plugins. But looking at posts/pages Yoast set up doesn't show on post again. Is it OK to deactivate plugins, then set up post, then reactivate?
I have a wordpress free account, but it will not allow me to install pluggin with Yoast unless I upgraded to business like $25 a month. Are you paying Wordpress 25 a month?
You're using WordPress.com, vs. a self-hosted account probably. I made that mistake at first and had to set up a site using SiteGround and migrate the hosting over. Giant pain but now that it is done, it is done, and I have access to all these free plugins that are for some reason restricted with the .com version of WordPress. It's super frustrating, I know, but if you switch over now early in the process it will be so much easier going forward.

Why did u register twice for the google search console ; one from the yoast set up wizard and one time from the general setting of the plugin ?
