As I said, the weights for barebow in the XCEED are a nice addition taking in consideration the (overall) lack of interest from Hoyt in barebow; but seeing last month's Demmer and Dillinger fighting at the final in the US barebow Open using Hoyt's Epik (a pure olympic recurve bow) instead of risers from brands which specifically design their models for that competition (as Spigarelli, Gillo, CD Archery... ) persuaded me that the gear is to large extent irrelevant: everyone makes good bows and the best, most consistent archer wins no matter if uses a high end Uukha bow or a cheap chinese knock off. Anyway, the XCEED is no doubt a better, more flexible and capable alternative to the current lineup from Hoyt.

Thanks John and Mackenzie! Love this riser, and Doug Denton even came to me in Columbus at outdoor nationals and said, "Liz, you are going to be really excited with what we are coming out with!" I AM! Now, I feel like BAREBOW HAS ARRIVED! Now with the 2022 USAT shoots INCLUDING BAREBOW, I'm over the moon!!!!!
