Some of y’all may need to rewatch the beginning of the video.😂 If you guys need a bit more reference, go on her blog to see more examples. You may also need to watch her other videos to gain some more perspective. Great job Micah! ❤️ Your videos are very needed.
I've watched many of your vids on color analysis and have learned a lot from them. I'm a brown POC (SE Asian) and a TA but can wear some DA. Thank you for representing brown & black women! 💐👍🏼
I just found your channel and this really helped me understand that I can wear both soft & brighter colors . The tanner I get the more brighter colors I can pull off . New follower ❤️ Thank you !
I love this channel bc it has helped me find my style as a darker skinned woman. When I clicked this video I thought you would feature darker women with soft autumn skin, will you be making a separate video for us? I was really looking forward to it edit; I am a dark soft autumn
I feel like Rihanna is more a soft summer…or some type of summer. I’m not an expert at this, but she can pull off way many more of those cooler shades than a typical autumn I think
This complicates things for me. I have deep brown eyes and hair, which contrasts with my brown skin. I'm light-skinned but definitely not as a light as Rihanna. How do I figure out if I'm soft autumn or dark autumn? What's the best way to determine that?
Or a soft autumn with a dark autumn influence. She mentioned it in her last soft autumn video. She used Rosario Dawson for the example picture. That's what I am so im waiting for more on that. For reference, I'm a muted neutral warm skin tone with dark hair and eyes.
I just made a video of dark autumn vs clear spring I’ll be doing one with dark autumn and soft autumn as well:) But you could be a darker soft autumn or a muted dark autumn depending on which one is your dominant contrast type (soft/muted or dark)
@@cocoastyling please understand how EXCITED I am to hear about the dark autumn vs soft autumn video coming. I cannot stress how important and helpful your work is. THANKYOU SO MUCH for everything that you have done so far and the coming comparison video as well!!!
Did you mean to entitle this video "best colors for dark skin?" Because I watched the whole video and all I saw were examples of what looks best on light skinned soft autumn women. Do you have any examples of best colors for dark skinned (brown, dark skinned) women who are also soft autumns? Because if there are darker skinned soft autumns (and if not then it might have been better to say "For medium skin tones") then it would be nice for brown and dark brown women (who most likely clicked on this video expecting to be represented) to receive guidance on what looks best on them as well.
Did you not listen to the beginning of the video it's rare to find darker people who are soft autumns go through the series to see if you and others match with another colour season.
@@destineemorris760 Yes, I listened to the video but did you READ the title? The title says 'dark skin" Therefore the expectation is that there would be DARK people in the video. But if it's so hard to find darker skinned people who are soft autumns then the title shouldn't suggest that there are dark people in the video.HTH!
@@izukanneokongwu6947 Yes, soft autumn is in the title and is explained in the video but darker people are NOT in the video (because none of these people are dark) and therefore it should not be said that this video is for dark skinned people.
No Dark skin is a spectrum and I have videos on all of the seasons and different shades of darker people the darker you are the higher your color tolerance and soft types have the lowest color tolerance
@@cocoastyling You may have videos on all seasons in different shades of people but the people in your video are not dark yet that is what you have in the title. For instance, just because white people refer to someone like Beyoncé is dark does not mean that she is actually darker skinned. Looking at the full spectrum of all people, she (like the other people in your video) would be neither darker or lighter - but mid-range. This is the point that many people are noticing but few have enough courage to say .... that It's bad enough when white people tend to call the lightest of us "dark skinned" but it's even worse when our own people participate in our erasure by referring to light skin people as dark skin people as if we do not exist.
@@joymakena8938 I get what she’s saying and what you are. But you have to realize how counter intuitive it is to make a video about colors that look good on dark skin but not show any people with dark skin?? I know for myself I like to use the people as a reference for my own skin. So it’s a bit frustrating when we don’t get that option but every other skin tone does.

Thanks🥰 Pinning this because I was about to post a comment like this
THIS GIRL IS NOT OF THE AFRO?BLACK AMERICAN DIASPORA and the people she is showing are not Dark skin

For the soft girls :) I am so excited to learn more about your system.
God bless you, Micah!

I’ll be a video exposing the differences
It will be similar to the one I just did on the Soft Summer:)
Yay! I'm so excited about this video! Thank you for making this!

I agree. i have seen online color analyst use Rihanna. They usually classify her as summer. I think she is borderline Summer/soft autmun palette.
Right on timeeee ❤️❤️ thank you for this
Crying for soft summer 🥺😭
Could you please get into Kibbe hairstyles for black women??
Sure!

Hello Micah I am really enjoying your videos wonderful channel.
Great video. Is Beyonce a soft autumn? I wish you put more celebrities with this colouring cause many people have become confused 😂.
I’ll talk about her soon!
But yes
She would be a Soft Autumn that isn’t as muted

I'm cobfused...,Where is the video for those that are True autumns?
I already know I gotta pay for you sis
I didnt i didnt see any soft autums that were dark. Are you saying soft autumns can not have dark skin ? Everyone was light.
I’m dark skinned but i look my best in muted warm pinks. I consider myself a soft autumn.
I think you forgot the dark skin part

Sorry but these are not dark skin women from my stand point . Would have been good to have a variety of skin tones .
I saw Eva in the thumbnail and already knew 🙄
But she clearly stated that it would be hard to see a darker skin woman who is a soft autumn. Just go through the whole series with an open mind.

Umm..I thought this video was for "dark skin". Wassup with the "Brown Paper Bag" bias??
