Marva, this brought back some memories, I remember this tray, its what made me hit that subscibe button way back when. Your recreation is absolutly stunning as well. Great job. Im being sent the new white epoxy as well. ❤😊
The colors were really pretty Marva. That washi tape really did go well with the tray you used it on. I really like the white epoxy resin, I need too. I'm glad it's available now!
The white resin is a regular epoxy just colored white and it’s not very cost effective for what you pay for a large container of epoxy and you add white to it…. I told the company that they are taking advantage of the ppl by saying all you have to do is mix the 2 together well guess what regular epoxy comes in 2 parts and you need to mix them together…. I also told them that I would never consider buying either white or black…..and if you buy the casting resin and regular epoxy resin you can mix them together as they are the same again the company is making you feel like casting is different….they are the same
Dawn, they aren't taking advantage of people, these are convenience products for those who don't want to mess with mixing a true white or a true black with another colorant. And like Marva did in her video, she was able to showcase her project with a white background and not have to use a mix in. Believe it not, its hard sometimes to get a true white or black. As far as the casting Resin, they came out with that for folks that were having a hard time with lifting the bigger bottles and made a pump for easier dispensing. Let's Resin usually doesn't come out with something unless they have an overwhelming request or response for something. Buy it or don't buy it, but they aren't taking advantage of people, they are for the people in this crafting field.
Yes it is regular resin just colored white. What your paying for is convenience. And just like if you buy a loaf of bread at grocery store it's less expensive that at a convenience store. It's completely the customer choice if you want to pay the extra or not
It is preference whether to buy it….but as a small crafter not making a lot of money you have to look at the bottom line and convenience is on the back burner and there are ways to get true black or white
@@dawnrosch8861 I understand the making money part Dawn, but you can't blame that on Let's Resin. Its a tough economy right now, we are all trying new things to make money. Just keep your focus and keep trying new things when you can afford it and it will work out. But don't take it out on companies who are trying to work for us.
