As someone who has done the type of horsemanship 0:56 is attempting to do, she is not doing it correctly at all. First when she hops on, she is trying to get the horses emergency stop prepared by flexing the head in to make contact with the toes of the rider. When done correctly this helps the horse find release in listening to the rider, as well as aiding in any stop (stopping should be the first thing you learn to do on a horse). This rider… I have no idea what she’s doing. She’s adding extra pressure to the other side of the horse, which is confusing and asking him to continue round. However she doesn’t release the pressure when the horse turns to look, and while the original pressure from the rein releases when the horses nose touches the toes, this pressure from the other side is 100% unnecessary and NOT how you train a horse to release to pressure. Rider error. Secondly, I believe afterwards she was trying to get the horse to “step-up” and trot, however having extra pressure on your horse, asking them to bend inwards whilst giving way too much pressure on the turn is completely wrong. Turns are accomplished by starting with the smallest amount of pressure possible and becoming bigger, then releasing when the turn is in motion and complete. I also highly doubt she is doing the level of this training that this horse is up to and understands, which is why the horse reacted this way. 100% rider error. The big march she did towards the horse, flapping her arms is trying to get him to back up. This technique ONLY works when you’ve done proper training with your horse, and you do NOT start big. Start small, work up your energy and body language and then release and go back to small once they start backing up. She was also tugging and moving the lead whilst asking the horse to back up, sending utterly confusing messages to the horse. Once again, rider error. When she asked him on the circle she pointed to give direction, but gave too much pressure to the hind end. She also pointed out too far which in some cases can result in pulling the horse into your personal space. It’s lucky this horse is such a saint and went out. The flapping of the stirrups was done aggressively, when it should be calm and work up to big. Not good. All in all she is attempting to do a type of horsemanship/horse training that is beneficial and forges amazing connection with your horse WHEN done properly. This was not done properly. I hope she has the opportunity to learn and change in the future.
It’s called a one rein stop, basically if you feel a horse start to act up or get ready to buck you can spin them because they physically can’t rear or buck while going in a circle
It's called One rein stop. You can do the one rein stop for emergency only. Like if the horse get too much energy or kick, etc. It'a a "punishment" because the horse doesn't like it but it don't hurt them. Again, One rein stop is for emergency ONLY!
@@Horsexfails Yeahh that’s what I thought but it could have been done better. No rider is perfect and everyone learns smth new every day buuuut I’d say to not pull on the horses mouth so much bc then it feels trapped
1:18 that was completely unnecessary whacking the horse I get that she fell of but it wasn’t the horses fault and actually slapping the horse wow they just messed up really big and I want them to know that that is unacceptable like there was littrally no reason 😢😢😢
I believe she was trying to desensitize the horse, but I don’t like the way she was doing it. That’s my opinion, but I personally think she was too hard on the horse’s mouth, and got after the horse for no reason. Just because horse bucks, you NEVER just pull and get angry.
1:20 is abuse she should be canceld she ran at the horse for getting scared and mad and rearing when she was wavig her hand at him/her shame to the rider
I can’t believe I reached 30K subscribers! Thank you all so much ❤❤❤
Congrats❤🎉
1:38 SHES rlly messing up that horse with her “Training”
Yeah
1:16 completely rider error, and then to get after her horse like that? Not admirable.
Thinking the dame thing right now..

Oh woah
Was that tight rein turn to the left a possible “training” for barrel racing? She held it for quite a few turns. Or, was it to calm the horse down?
I honestly don’t know what she was trying to accomplish but I really don’t like the way she was doing it 🙄
@@EmmieandQueenwhich video are you talking about?

Maybe attempting to desensitize her horse but I’m not sure. That’s not the way to do it anyway
She was training/desensitising the horse I’m sure :)

1:48 she is a bad rider and a horrible horse trainer
This is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen
At 20......never leave the in gate open.
the 7 one was dumb she was yanking and turing him all around and if i was the horse i would have buck her off too
1:40 arm paard😢
Yeah 😢
1:06 I really don’t like how she was waving her arms in the air, the horse spooked, she fell off and took it out on the horse
1:11 gefällt mir gar nicht , dar dieses Mädchen den Zügel vom Pferd extrem in eine Richtung zieht

There down the drain goes a myth of human-horse bond
1:16 Why would she ride in a shed with another horse, bikes and other things to spook the horse?
1:20 is abuse she should be canceld she ran at the horse for getting scared and mad and rearing when she was wavig her hand at him/her shame to the rider
