  • The OKC Thunder Are The NBA's Next Dynasty as Gilbert Arenas was impressed with their recent performance in the NBA Playoffs and believes the future is bright. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey playing at a new level this season, and Chet Holmgren on the mend you can't help but think this team is primed to become the NBA's next version of the Golden State Warriors Dynasty.

Dort is a nice defensive player… joe was a good pickup… really a solid 4 or a tweener 3/4 that isn’t necessarily a star but a great fit for that team would elevate tht like crazy. Okc- doesn't need to trade most of the picks because if you are winning your top stars and role players get older
    Now you have picks to keep some youth on the roster
    We saw with lebron's Cavs no picks no youth
    Clippers don't have any younger guys making the roster all there too talents are veteran players coming out there prime or passed it.
    Maybe you make a move on q veteran stare in a yr or two but I'd keep the picks if there a playoff team consistently top 6 or better thoughts picks will come in handy with the right coach and management moves

    I think the other interesting point to consider is chemistry and in particular ego. There is plenty of ego in Harden, Westbrook and Durant which ultimately robbed each other and the OKC of their own dynasty. I don’t think you are going to find these characteristics in the persons of Giddey, Chet and Shai. For this reason, I think the current three will prove in time to be the best core OKC has ever produced.

    • @JCMthebrand
      @JCMthebrand ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I appreciate you saying I don’t think….never can know until the time comes. Agents, GMs they can take you out of your mold. Imagine Harden was actually very humbled as the 6th man….shit the bed in the finals. He got told by DM he was everything and didn’t need KD and RW and come get an insane bag in a much more entertaining city. It won’t work on all but it’ll work on most.

    • @Ujett1
      @Ujett1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Watchingvideoslikeu precisely, in time I stand to be corrected but for the moment I think egos will remain in check. I have considered your point prior to expressing my thoughts. I do however factor in the current culture of this young group both at a personal level and that from a team perspective. Josh Giddey’s maturity is well beyond his years. Shai will get the max, both Josh and Chet will be satisfied as support cast for Shai so long as they continue to live up to what we see as their potential. I think the problem will come from outside of these three as their indeed is some serious talent on this roster. If either of Chet and or Giddey fall out of favour in mins and rotation from one of the others, than there will be a dilemma but not necessarily a problem for OKC given whomever breaks into the top three will no doubt be that man.

    • @Watchingvideoslikeu
      @Watchingvideoslikeu ปีที่แล้ว +2
