I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for....
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

We experienced the peak of our era, and now it is gone. Recession is tanking everything including 401K. My retirement equities portfolio of $750K is in the reds. I keep losing because of inflation. This world will fall to the corrupt rulers in the same way that Rome did. I'm sorry if you're thinking about retiring and you're worried that your pension won't be enough to meet the rising cost of living. Horrible foreign policies everywhere, bad regulatory policy, bad fiscal policy, and bad energy policy.
For retirees and those close to retirement, I believe it's particularly challenging. All those years of labor only to lose it all to a problem you weren't responsible for, my regrets to everyone retiring during this time.

Great advice great show James. I have 1000sh. 65 year old. 2028 I start pulling 30sh a year to retire. 33 years till I run out at 103 of age. Hoping it does at least half as well as bulls figure... even then I will be happy with that. All I own 1 ETH, 2 BTC, 1000sh Tesla... and some vintage recording gear I plan to sell soon. Oh yeh... some Jam 2025 calls too 🙂 PS. Tesla may fall hard in 2023.... but long run, you def want in on this juggernaut!

Man I sure hope you’re right James! I’ve managed to stack 115 shares inside my 401k over the last year. I think I bought in as high as 250 per share but also bought a bunch all the way down to whatever it was (something like 105?) in December when there was tons of FUD. Then lastly bought some at 155 several weeks ago to bring me to my total amount of current shares. May stack a little more through the rest of this year depending on what stupid stuff we continue to see…
@@Anytimeanywhere444 my company added an option for employees to have a SDBA (Self Directed Brokerage Account) within our 401k. So I was able to move a big chunk of money from selling off mutual funds and moved the cash into the SDBA. Otherwise I would not be able to do it.
@@Anytimeanywhere444 Self directed brokerage account or SDBA. Through my 401k provider I can allocate a percentage of my portfolio to a linked TD Ameritrade account where Ican buy/sell without being taxed. There are certain things you cant do though like trade options.

Well agreed, you know it was way easier to navigate the market up till 2020, ever since it’s been dip over dip, I had to source for a portfolio manager "Courtney Heath Williams" to revamp my entire portfolio in order to hedge against inflation. It’s been over years following the strategies and I’ve grown a $250k account to almost 1.5m thus far.

James, I teach my kids to work hard at a young age, just like my mom taught me. My daughter has worked at Walmart for 2 years and is now 18. She has 37 TESLAs under her belt and still going strong, adding about 2 a month before leaving for her mission. My son is 20 and has 34 under his belt. He was on a mission to Colombia so he didn't have the time to save there, however plugging away once again while working on his Physics degree. They think I am the crazy TESLA Mom. Here is to hoping one day I will be the favorite instead of their fun loving spending father(married 24 years). May the Force be with YOU ;-)

She was 16 when she started. 104 shares of Tesla there and QQQ and Palantir and FBTC. In her own name she has another Robinhood about with $11,000. 22 shares of Tesla, QQQ, and XLK. The only way to help our kids beat inflation is to get them investing at 16 and working hard loading up so it can get them ahead. I was the only mean mom in high school who said you have to work at 16 and not play sports! Don’t care! 😜 they can no touchy for 10 years! Let’s goooo!
I watch several TH-cam videos on how to trade in the stock market but haven't made any head start because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands

I read so many people, advisors and companies put Tesla and Musk down and I just cant understand why. Tesla is so much more than a tech company, more than an automotive company. I believe with all my heart that you just can't bet against Musk. He is 5-10 steps ahead over everyone else.

James, James, James!!! Every time I watch some of your content about Tesla, I break out and buy some myself. That is because of your conviction and of course my own. By the way, our little town of Ashland Wisconsin just had their first electric car charger installed. That alone made me think of Tesla and I just smiled. This is all from a crazy roofer in Northern WI who drives a 1 ton gasoline truck and is a proud shareholder of Tesla!

FSD is better than it has been but it's not close to being full self driving. No way I trust it anytime soon! Example: It can't anticipate like a human can because it can't see far enough down the road. It can't tell when to ignore the traffic lines like when a turning lane is full and you have to enter the center lane before it's marked as a turning lane. This will either make you miss your turn or the car will try to make the turn at the light by cutting in front of the lane of cars waiting to turn, as almost happened to me one time. I don't use it much because it's easier to drive myself then try to anticipate when the car might try to do something stupid. One side note I have found is when driving with FSD it will use more watts per mile than I use. It will accelerate and then brake when it finally sees the light. I can see the light much earlier and slow down much more gradually. I don't see robo taxi by 2025.
Arent we forgetting one thing, and that is that most people drive what they think looks nice instead of what's the best car? Look around. Therefore competition may be around a lot longer than we think or hope.

All I have to say is that nothing in life works out like we predict. Long term stock predictions are nearly useless. I have 3,000 shares, but really don’t expect those to be ridiculously valuable. I like the investment, but come on.
Man if it hits $2000 or even $1500 p/s I’m going to cash out and retire. I’m 80% all in Tesla since 2016 & been DCA. Regulations for FSD will be a huge challenge when released but when it does the bottom line will be ridiculous. I see we’re progressing into a new era just like the Amazons, Google did in there beginnings but Time will tell & I have time. 👊🏼

Every person with significant shares will be a multimillionaire, even billionaire. With 3B shares outstanding in 2023, it is going to generate TRILLIONS for millions of investors, employees, etc. Could you comment on what the future value of money could be - best and worst case? Are we going to be paying $100 for a Starbucks coffee because everyone is rich and drives up cost? Is it going to be like the movie “Bruce Almighty” where everyone wished for and won the lottery? In the movie, everyone won, and the payout was only $17 per winner. :) Serious question, though. I apologize if I missed this being covered.
This has given me lots to think about. I’d love to see a multi-asset model involving Tesla, Bitcoin, a little Eth, a handful of other equities/commodities and property. I’m very risk averse by nature but love your motto of going in hard on a select few that I have strong conviction on.
Mountains of respect to James and the team for this analysis. But regarding pick-up trucks, I just don't like the cybertruck even though I'm a Tesla fan. Will look at other truck options as long as they exist.

Bitcoin is fairy dust and make-believe. Tesla is an actual company, printing money and growing. One is easily measurable and predictable, the other is just hype.
So I should be able to retire with my 1150 shares of Tsla by 2030? Great video. It had stock splits more than s few times, the stock would be 3k right now if they didn’t have so many stock splits, if they didn’t do any it would be worth 15k a stock….. its hard to wrap ur head around it but with the growth they r having they are going to be bigger than Ford in 8-10yeas…
Those share counts today seem so low for where my (*mental) model takes the stock over that time. I'm just going to hold anyway and I assume that if I'm not using an excel model I cannot think in the rate of growth that is happening. Thanks for covering Portugal on the retirement part. James, another superb video on Retirement series. i do wish you were around when I believed in paying part-salary into the Company Pension scheme. This knowledge would hv made me think of my retirement portfolio in a sompletely different way. But nothing is ever too late as I bought my first Tesla share just over a year ago where I've seen it double, then ride it all the way back to below my first buy rice. I know from fundamental, it'll revert back up and i plan to DCA. I watched your earlier videos on retirement a while back....and this one builds on top of that. Also I think extending out retirement to about age 99 which is what financial planners do. So more like 40 years then 24. I think health is wealth and many of us will live into our hundred. I am already retied but can wait until 2032 for things to grow and develop. thank you again.
James, James, James!!! Every time I watch some of your content about Tesla, I break out and buy some myself. That is because of your conviction and of course my own. By the way, our little town of Ashland Wisconsin just had their first electric car charger installed. That alone made me think of Tesla and I just smiled. This is all from a crazy roofer in Northern WI who drives a 1 ton gasoline truck and is a proud shareholder of Tesla!

FSD is better than it has been but it's not close to being full self driving. No way I trust it anytime soon!
Example: It can't anticipate like a human can because it can't see far enough down the road. It can't tell when to ignore the traffic lines like when a turning lane is full and you have to enter the center lane before it's marked as a turning lane. This will either make you miss your turn or the car will try to make the turn at the light by cutting in front of the lane of cars waiting to turn, as almost happened to me one time. I don't use it much because it's easier to drive myself then try to anticipate when the car might try to do something stupid.
One side note I have found is when driving with FSD it will use more watts per mile than I use. It will accelerate and then brake when it finally sees the light. I can see the light much earlier and slow down much more gradually.
I don't see robo taxi by 2025.
Arent we forgetting one thing, and that is that most people drive what they think looks nice instead of what's the best car? Look around. Therefore competition may be around a lot longer than we think or hope.

Regulations for FSD will be a huge challenge when released but when it does the bottom line will be ridiculous. I see we’re progressing into a new era just like the Amazons, Google did in there beginnings but Time will tell & I have time. 👊🏼

Every person with significant shares will be a multimillionaire, even billionaire. With 3B shares outstanding in 2023, it is going to generate TRILLIONS for millions of investors, employees, etc. Could you comment on what the future value of money could be - best and worst case? Are we going to be paying $100 for a Starbucks coffee because everyone is rich and drives up cost? Is it going to be like the movie “Bruce Almighty” where everyone wished for and won the lottery? In the movie, everyone won, and the payout was only $17 per winner. :) Serious question, though. I apologize if I missed this being covered.

This has given me lots to think about. I’d love to see a multi-asset model involving Tesla, Bitcoin, a little Eth, a handful of other equities/commodities and property. I’m very risk averse by nature but love your motto of going in hard on a select few that I have strong conviction on.
Mountains of respect to James and the team for this analysis. But regarding pick-up trucks, I just don't like the cybertruck even though I'm a Tesla fan. Will look at other truck options as long as they exist.

@InvestAnswers, I was looking at the video you did two years ago about retiring on BTC… Your price prediction then was off by 13.8x, @ $374,876. Could the TSLA price prediction be similarly off? Not dumping on you, just keeping it real.
Bitcoin is fairy dust and make-believe. Tesla is an actual company, printing money and growing. One is easily measurable and predictable, the other is just hype.

Dude its going to be…. It had stock splits more than s few times, the stock would be 3k right now if they didn’t have so many stock splits, if they didn’t do any it would be worth 15k a stock….. its hard to wrap ur head around it but with the growth they r having they are going to be bigger than Ford in 8-10yeas…
Those share counts today seem so low for where my (*mental) model takes the stock over that time. I'm just going to hold anyway and I assume that if I'm not using an excel model I cannot think in the rate of growth that is happening. Thanks for covering Portugal on the retirement part. One of my dream locations.
James, another superb video on Retirement series. i do wish you were around when I believed in paying part-salary into the Company Pension scheme. This knowledge would hv made me think of my retirement portfolio in a sompletely different way. But nothing is ever too late as I bought my first Tesla share just over a year ago where I've seen it double, then ride it all the way back to below my first buy rice. I know from fundamental, it'll revert back up and i plan to DCA.
