I'm definitely looking forward to option 2. How to get next level footage from the Mini 3 Pro? I know that color grading/editing plays a big role, but it would be nice to learn the real insights from an expert.
ND is being used on ALL clips!! We used the DJI filters which are the BEST. If the drone itself is in frame, where we are showing off the lenses / three cameras, then you don't want an ND on because this can block out the view of the lenses / camera system. We then put the ND filter back on when flying to record footage.

Unfortunately you can’t adjust the sharpness in camera like you could on the Mavic 2 Pro. I actually don’t find it too sharp, if anything I add sharpness in premier pro.
@@propertystudios4013 no problem. Are you using NDs? Are you using the 180 degree shutter rule? Are you shooting in the best light possible? Are you shooting in D-LOG? ... some things to consider :)
@@darylswalker yes, all those things. Had an ND on, shooting in DLOG prores HQ on 5.6 shutter on 100, iso around 100 - shooting into shadows and just getting noise and the wider shots are giving me too much sharpness :(
@@propertystudios4013 the 24mm is sharp out of the box unfortunately. you might have to de-sharpen in post production but i like my drone shots to be sharp. Personal taste :)
damn perfect again buddy! can i plz ask, i just got a mavic 3 classic and coming from an 2s and mini 3 i wanted some advice: i'm going on the nc500 in a few days and wanted to know if it's good in normal mode or should i definitely shoot dlog and grade it? many say normal is great on the mavic and isnt like the rubbish normal on mini and air 2s , but normal mode is only 8bit which isn't great as i still want to tweak it a little without breaking up.
Cheers dude! and ALWAYS shoot in D-Log really. This gives you the best possible image from the sensor. If you nail your exposure exactly and there isn't much need for dynamic range in the scene (cloudy day) then Normal picture profile might be fine, you just can't play with it as much in post. I always like to have full control!

Yeah, every clip in the video has the DJI conversion LUT on it, gets you in the ball park as long as you've exposed right in camera :) the other one, think its titled 'vivid' is sometimes a good shout too!
I’ve been to the Faroes 7 times now and know how crazy the wind can get. When we filmed this video for a week it was the calmest weather I’ve ever experienced. Not a drop of wind all week :) If the wind is over 25m/s the I wouldn’t fly the Mavic!
I am aware of the grind, and as a vegetarian and animal lover I do not agree with it. I get this comment a lot. That doesn't mean people shouldn't visit the islands, they are beautiful in their own right. If that were the case, I'd not recommend people visit the UK, it's not a lovely place for cows, sheep, chickens etc etc The rest of the planet isn't such a lovely place for animals :( we as humans need to be better!

Faroe Islands are pretty windy. Sometimes even Mavic 3 cannot resist the winds there. The video maker must be careful with the weather
