I think he almost broke him a few times. During when he was talking about Gina Gershon and he licked his teeth and there were a lot of quick cuts like there were edits because he was laughin.
8 yrs ago my son was granted a wish thru Make. A Wish. He got to meet Jon as Dean and he talked juet like this ! It was amazing just like this interview
It’s very telling that Jon Moxley looked the least dead inside while talking about his nipple falling off, getting a Wawa sandwich, slagging off Twitter, and being eaten by a mountain lion.
He said he would be a firefighter if he wasn't wrestling, but honestly you can tell his calling is being a sandwich artisan with how hyped up he got over it.
Mox is basically the Tommy Lee Jones of professional wrestling. It’s not that he was bored, or didn’t want to be there. It’s that that’s just…him. That’s how he rolls, and it makes him the ultimate straight man for RJ’s tomfoolery.
First few minutes: 'Mox might murder him' A few minutes later: 'RJ is turning this around!' Book reading: 'nah, Mox is gonna murder him' Cinci-naughty: 'RJ you genius you!' This was great. Thank you. 💜
Seeing the multiple times RJ almost broke Mox makes me happy. You can see it all over his body language he's fighting for his life to keep serious in a few parts
The thing I've learned over the years seeing him interviewed is that it takes him about 20 minutes to get warmed up, but once he does get warmed up, he gets in the zone and becomes very entertaining. He's just very introverted.
If you watch any Jon Moxley interview you’ll notice he never looks at anybody. I was crying when RJ called him out for it 🤣🤣. He looked at him for a split second and that was all he needed 🤣
took a few questions for Mox to get into it, but once he did, this was actually a very enjoyable chat. a much more conversational episode than usual. happy 100th!
I fucking love when Mox talks about sandwiches. That chapter in his book is my favorite thing. They should give him a show where he makes a sandwich of the week or something, I'd watch every one
Hey! (EW) has been a gem of AEW and what I like about it is its creates a chance for the wrestlers to shine comedically in these mini interviews. I appreciate the alternative spot to entertain. Cheers to 100.
I just saw Mox on Fri at a PWR show come out twice to the same Wild Thing song as always. But had the flute version rang out across that basketball gym…,
The one episode I've been waiting for. The Cinci-naughty part had me cracking up. Even when RJ moved on to the next one, Jon just kept circling back to Cinci-naughty & making jokes about it. 😂 Jon is the best.
Necessary evil. Censorship and misinformation are much easier on traditional media, especially in countries like mine. Twitter can be valuable if you have the ability to filter your timeline with reliable sources.
It's amazing how he comes off as giddy, almost bubbly in that book. You just never see it outside of that. I feel like this was the closest we came to "mox audiobook energy"
Crazy how young he looked back only 10 years ago in 2014, he seemed a lot thinner back then too, had his long shaggy hair with no beard etc. Compare that version of him to the version of him now, seems he’s aged like 25 years in 10
@@douglascolby2908 Mox (or Ambrose as he was known back then) appeared a few brief times on the reality show Total Divas, because Renee was a side character and occasionally he'd be in scenes/skits with her. He looked very embarrassed and reluctant to appear in the programme, though, even hiding behind props like books or a giant mug. It was a bit of a meme at the time. @@douglascolby2908 it's 100% autobiographical. It just so happens that there's very little difference between Jon Moxley and Jonathan Good, so you very much get Mox vibes when reading.
lol I love Mox's energy and vibe through all this. Yes, it looks like he doesn't really want to be there but I think he's actually just an over-analyzer like me --- don't want to be on twitter but has to, don't want to invite a bunch of people to his wedding cause then others would just get mad lol. My favorite part about this was that Jon was REALLY thinking about some of those questions before answering them. At the very least...he gave his consideration to RJ.
"Let's get Cinci-NAUGHTY" was SO CLOSE to breaking him! Like RJ chipped a sliver out of a glacier!
Probably made him think of a Claudio joke.
I think he almost broke him a few times. During when he was talking about Gina Gershon and he licked his teeth and there were a lot of quick cuts like there were edits because he was laughin.

I love that Mox brought Claudio with him but also seems to have brought a variety of snacks/drinks😂😂
Jon Moxley is probably having a look of "I'm only doing this for Renee and my daughter" look on his face.
Oh yeah
If he was doing it for Renee and his daughter he shouldn't be risking his life anytime he wrestles
He definitely had a "Renee is making me do this" vibe during the entire interview
Definitely a cringe 😬, but not surprised.
