    Oh nice. I have around the same line of thought as yours.
    I'd like to talk to you. My list of things you could try if you haven't yet would be programming and recursive metacognition. Programming gives you a new perspective in how computers think while high-level metacognition allows you to optimize your thought process and learn really quickly. Another thing you could look into that I haven't done yet would be learning basically the undergraduate math, including real analysis, complex analysis, functional analysis, as well as abstract algebra, category theory, and perhaps type theory. These can basically provide a solid foundation for metacognition itself. Finally, let's get into deep tech startups. I believe AI and data science will basically take over jobs that can be done with just pattern recognition and memorization, so we need to stay ahead and find something completely original. Once an AI has enough training data, AI will win. The only way to stay ahead is to start doing something nobody has ever done before.
    I'd like to talk to you. Hopefully we can benefit from each other.

    Your theory about different layers of dimensions within a single entity, which compound, develop, and reinforce each other, aligns with my understanding of reality and its general rules. I mean, you observe the depth of super-compounding from the technical level to the organizational level, examining how one thing works, how it's built from different layers of perception within itself, and how it relates to other things, and so on. However, what I want to mention is that the ways of organizing how you best plan this compounding are sometimes nonlinear and counterintuitive, but they result in synergy in their development and compounding.
    So, just in case you haven't yet thought of creating a subsystem within the super-compounding that utilizes theories from psychology and systems sciences, I advise you to do so. I mean, in psychology, there are some really useful theories that provide deep insights into the "whys" and "hows" of the emotional aspect. Understanding these theories well can enhance your ability to create systems that navigate stable patterns of human behavior more efficiently. One course I would recommend is Jordan Peterson's Maps of Meaning.
    As for systems science, since it is the science concerned with organizing different formal layers in abstraction, you will definitely find a lot of value there as well. If you'd like to have a one-on-one conversation, I think it would be quite interesting. I have an IQ of 145+, not including the effects of my ADHD.

      I doubt you’re just at 145. What would you advise someone with an iq at that range to get his foot into system science/dynamics? Whenever I’m investigating something, the many factors I’m trying to analyze, deduce from and synthesize get mixed up quickly it’s hard to explain. It’s useless to be able infer complex relationships from data points if you can’t zero in on the principle at play effectively to then leverage the explanatory power against uncertainty in the market. What have you found to be helpful for organizing your thinking when going into a complex problem with scattered data points? Any books recommendations?

    I like your ambition, and also I love that theory because it is omnipresent. for example, if someone learns many languages to high proficiency, then that person will learn way faster and know how to learn when he learns another language, meanwhile possibly increase working memory and leading to iq increase, thus making it way easier to learn another lanaguge as well. and also broader perception due to multiple languages. I think it is a positive cycle. So that's why the rich get richer, smart people get smarter, and famous people gain more fame.

    This is something I've been pondering recently too that I think I may write about. The idea that how we do anything is how we do everything, and that there is an interconnectedness in many (perhaps all) skills, whether directly, or indirectly (like the more we learn, the better we learn, which helps us learn new things faster). I like your idea of avoiding crutches like video editing to kind of force yourself to "do it right the first time" by improving presentation skills, rather than just "I'll edit that out later".

    I really do like your take on this. Mastery is two dimensional, there's the scope aspect, and the depth aspect. Scope being the array, or volume, and depth being the length of the distance each dot within the array extends to. You've hit the nail on the head.

    Hey bro have you ever considered doing your brain training in sets. If your brain is like a muscle then surely splitting your training into sets will let your brain recover between sets so you can maximize effective volume, possibly leading into more neurogenosis. Just wondering if you've experimented with this already, seeing as you recommend 60 minutes every 2nd day. Assuming focusing for 90 minutes is your peak focus duration. You could possibly train for 120 minutes, 60 minutes at a time and that may lend you better peak results. I know you're focusing on making money, but do you think this would be a valid idea to pursue afterwards or have you already experimented with this? Probably not an optimal use of time for most people though.

    • @somerandomboi8239
      @somerandomboi8239 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is no neurogenesis after birth except in the hippocampus. What he's doing is basically nuking his working memory center with rewiring, so to speak. It's a heavily strenuous process with seemingly non-lasting gains; even he said that you start to drop off as soon as you stop. Though it may not be so. We'll see, this is a new idea. We're seeing a new concept being tested before our eyes.

    • @InfiniteIQ
      @InfiniteIQ  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes i suspect that the optimal method may be to train 12x 5mins etc, rather than a 60min block, but of course that would be very difficult from a time management point of view

    • @darkswordguy128
      @darkswordguy128 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@somerandomboi8239 YOU'RE WRONG. There's neurogenesis till age 25, and im not talking about neuroplasticity. Your brain literally grows in size till youre around 25 +- 1 year.
      Search this:
      Neurogenesis, or the birth of new neural cells, was thought to occur only in the developing nervous system and a fixed neuronal population in the adult brain was believed to be necessary to maintain the functional stability of adult brain circuitry. However, recent studies have demonstrated that neurogenesis does indeed continue into and throughout adult life in discrete regions of the central nervous systems (CNS) of all mammals, including humans.

    Hi Daniel, I watched your video on supplements and you mentioned lions mane and why you think it didn’t work and you said you might try it again. I’ve elaborated a theory based of what you said and what I know and was wondering if you were going give it another chance:
    From my understanding
    The way lions mane works is that SUPPOSEDLY, I say that because it’s been confirmed in animals and not humans. Supposedly it is supposed to grow new neurons in your brain. And to make the new neurons effective you need to train your brain so you can strengthen the connections between them. Because if you have new neurons and weak connections then they’re basically useless. So maybe that why the lions mane research studies have been inconclusive so far. And I don’t think your body will adapt to the dosage and make them ineffective and here is why: it’s been proven a few years ago that your brain already prunes and creates new neurons everyday, so the old statement that you have a limited amount of neurons set for your life and your brain doesn’t produce any new ones is false. My theory is that the older you get the less and less neurons your brain will produce everyday while the amount prunes remains the same. And that’s why people get mentally slower with age. And so back to the lions mane, let’s assume (I’m just giving a number, it’s not the actual number because I don’t know the amount) that the brain of a healthy adolescent or young adult brain produces is 10 new neurons a day and also prunes 10. Taking the lions mane would then add 2 new neurons on top of the 10 for a given quantity of supplement taken. I don’t know if there’s a cap to the amount of supplement to new neurons produced a day you can get. Anyway every time you take lions mane you get +2 and your body shouldn’t adapt to eventually for the same dosage you get 0 a day. Again this is all what I hypothesize. So let’s say you double the dosage, perhaps you’ll produce 4 new neurons on top of 10 a day. But maybe it’s not best to produce 14 instead of 12 a day because you will have too many weak neuronal connections at a time and it might slow your brain down. Maybe. If you take a lower dosage you allow your brain to adapt and properly strengthen the new neurons instead of having a bunch of weak ones. That is my theory on lions mane mushroom.

    • @InfiniteIQ
      @InfiniteIQ  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Yes i tried it again, and again saw negative results. The number of Neurons is not important, it is the size (capacity) of each neuron and the efficiency of connections between neurons that is important, i suspect lions mane creates a lot of small useless neurons that get in the way of efficient functioning
