I can't side with this more. I was starting to realize, as the show was getting "worse and worse" that the kids where the last thing that felt safe and intact, and the world of DiTF was crumbling around them. But then it dawned on me that, yes, exactly, that's exactly what this should feel like, because that's what's happening. The harsher realities of the world is coming out, and we are thrust into the role of the kids. As we begin to cherish them more and more, and become equally confused and terrified of the world around them. It's quite amazing actually.
@@ZeusPluchinoish This twist also does something else literally makes every human on the planet the kids. The subreddit has gotten so fucking toxic about this episode and even PhenomSage put out a hate video on this episode. It's nice to see someone actually discussing the episode instead of ranting about it.
Thank you! When I first watched it I was totally wth why aliens?! But after giving it some thought, and really breaking it down and putting everything together I could see why they did it. You can't jump the gun on everything until you see the whole picture. We can only cheer on the children and hope they get the future they deserve! Thank you so much for watching! I'm happy that I can make the show easier to understand.
Wow... you just fixed this show for me! I really wanted to like it, but always had this feeling like something was off at the end, like I was missing something. Thank you for opening my eyes to the reality of this show!

Bloody finally, it feels like what I've been trying to tell people in the comments, however futile the exercise. Great to hear someone else actually voice an oppinion based on paying close attention. Subbed for this. Eery feeling, hearing so many of your own thoughts said by someone else. Funny fact, Dr Franxx's fate takes the last key to cloning, so the children are left reliant on their own. Nana and Hachi?
Just Nerds funny, how the cute girl robots fighting loud aliens with weird naming may somehow be a genesis story of the new human race, while taking us on a real emotional rollercoaster.

With episode 21 out I think it did a much better character reaction to how badly they have been decieved by using the 9's. They continued to fight even after watching other Franxx units being ripped apart by the units sent out by VIRM/Papa. It was solidified with Delta's line, "Papa's orders are absolute!" And they continued to fight. Nine Alpha after watching his teammate get ripped apart and crushed, is eradic and fighting out of confusion. Desperately crying out for Papa to give him an order. He's still blind to the obvious fact that Papa/VIRM doesn't care. They have been nothing more than disposable puppets.
im going to sound like a typical nerd on the internet and say i had the same thought as you but i didnt really consider the intro that way. thanks for bringing light to my eyes!
I'm just watching this vid in 2020 and just watched darling and the franxxx a few days ago and you literally called the future for the last 4 episodes before thry were even out that is amazing
i just find this video and it was exactly the missing point i needed to complete the picture in my head, last part of the series always felt odd to me but never totally out of place from the caracthers perspective, this is actually a very good view point to understand the bigger picture. i dont think on excusing the studio or the creators for trowing such a curved ball on us but since it felt somewhat like a mistake or a rush ending it was really hard to just go whit it; now, adding this video to the mix it does actually make sence, since the shift in perspective kinda gets lost (wich is actually the problem as i see it whit the last part of the show).
Yeah, i heard this before that this puts us on the shoes of the characters, and it works very well tbh, literally feels like being in the dark room and opening the curtains at 7 am on a summer
Thank you so much for making this video. I only wish that more people could see it, but unfortunately, this channel in criminally low subscriber count compared to channels like Mothers Basement who once again continues his negative bias about something and failing to look at it on a deeper level. I was confused as hell watching episode 20, and I felt confused but didn't think the show would just drop in quality because of it, and this video perfectly conveys why I probably felt that.
Thank you for watching! Yes, we are small, but over time we will grow as long as we keep making content. Your support and comments helps us keep going. :) Thank you so much!!!
nobody (i think) is hating on the way the show turned we all hate the extremely unsatisfying ending to not go into spoilers: the ending invalidates all the feelings weve built up throughout the show about Zero Two and Hiro
Trigger seeing this and they like "Frick he got us, fast make zero two a space ship, more aliens, make blow shit up" instead of making a happy ending. I recommend I actually liked the ending even though it is a bit weird
I thought the same thing as you. All the Alien thing and mecha are just like " ladders " to help develop the plot, since the story is about children who grew up in different conditions without knowing the basics of what you could call... life? Freedom(I always thought that the bird thing was symbolism for freedom though now that I think about it it's pretty obvious), family, relationships, gender, etc. Though there's one thing that has been bothering me and it's the fact that the other children, the previous squad of Zero Two had 0 development, like they could never appear in screen and pretty much almost nothing wouldn't change. With all of this in mind, I really liked this anime. I'm pretty sure I'll be fine with any ending as long as it's consistent with what I've been seeing up until now. Awesome job with those videos, keep up with it!
No doubt this is the best anime i've ever watch , i dont mind if the director seems to rush the story , i loved the storyline from the start till end , and the plot twists inserted in the series . Thanks for your positive review mate !

That... Really makes sense, I've been wondering ever since episode 20 came out if by any chance the whole craziness that occurred during it, and the shock was not result of poor foreshadowing and writing, but a deliberate decision from the writers.
I respect you dude, u deserve more subs man. Your analysis is flipping great, you changed my opinion about the episode. Good video is great
Wow... you just fixed this show for me! I really wanted to like it, but always had this feeling like something was off at the end, like I was missing something. Thank you for opening my eyes to the reality of this show!
Insane how you literally predicted everything right on point
wow, thanks, you have just given me the most interesting perspective on Darling in the franxx, that not only made me realise that i wasn't taking everything into consideration, but also connects all the points that we had been shown up until now, wow, loved the video. subscribed.
Thanks for the sub! I’m happy that I was able to help you see all the connections!
You are the first person who has actually thought the same as I have on the show thank you it means a lot to know that someone thinks as I do for this show and that’s why I love it and have it as my favorite anime 🙏🏼
this is the best analysis I've seen
Thank you!
This is exactly why I subscribed to you. I loved this video. Don't stop!
Thank you! :)
You literally... predicted the fricking ending.
its funny how VIRM has been foreshadowed ever since the first arc. if you rewatch it for like 4 times you will come across major foreshadows
Hopefully Nana and Hachi will be able to find their purpose within the world. They will probably be in the same boat as the children.
Just Nerds funny, how the cute girl robots fighting loud aliens with weird naming may somehow be a genesis story of the new human race, while taking us on a real emotional rollercoaster.
2 years late, but amazing work!
Really good breakdown from 2018. Now 2021 and I fell in love with this anime! The best anime I have ever seen!
Wow this was a great vid and im amazed of the quality and time u put into this vid, I love anime and i love this series so i hope it ends with a happy ending u cleard alot i had in mind so keep up the good work 🤣 BTW ( darling in the franxx is in my top 3)
I hope so too!! These kids have grown on me and I hope they can have the happy ending they deserve.
Daniel Anime Lover Top 3 Anime? Plz tell me you are trolling.
Gregory McFadden shut up?
Yes, I was kinda sad when you said you wouldn't make another darlifra video. Thanks for this.
U know u opened my eyes on this so thank u
Nice analysis bro! Now to go watch episode 21.
I don't want a season 2...
I REALLY REALLY NEED ONE AND I CAN"T EVEN WAIT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
im going to sound like a typical nerd on the internet and say i had the same thought as you but i didnt really consider the intro that way. thanks for bringing light to my eyes!
This totally changed my view on the show. Thank you for this.
No problem! Thanks for watching!
You were spot on with your ending speculations! Great job making the video , I love this anime :)
Thanks!! 😁
I'm just watching this vid in 2020 and just watched darling and the franxxx a few days ago and you literally called the future for the last 4 episodes before thry were even out that is amazing
“Mother used to say you are so special, no one will shine brighter than my dear”
i just find this video and it was exactly the missing point i needed to complete the picture in my head, last part of the series always felt odd to me but never totally out of place from the caracthers perspective, this is actually a very good view point to understand the bigger picture.
i dont think on excusing the studio or the creators for trowing such a curved ball on us but since it felt somewhat like a mistake or a rush ending it was really hard to just go whit it; now, adding this video to the mix it does actually make sence, since the shift in perspective kinda gets lost (wich is actually the problem as i see it whit the last part of the show).
Yeah, i heard this before that this puts us on the shoes of the characters, and it works very well tbh, literally feels like being in the dark room and opening the curtains at 7 am on a summer
Aka the wake up call.
Thank you for opening my eyes to the final episodes
Thank you so much for making this video. I only wish that more people could see it, but unfortunately, this channel in criminally low subscriber count compared to channels like Mothers Basement who once again continues his negative bias about something and failing to look at it on a deeper level. I was confused as hell watching episode 20, and I felt confused but didn't think the show would just drop in quality because of it, and this video perfectly conveys why I probably felt that.
Thank you for watching! Yes, we are small, but over time we will grow as long as we keep making content. Your support and comments helps us keep going. :) Thank you so much!!!
awesome explaination and description done super right, love this, keep them coming, hence why i keep on watching cheers
This is one of my favorites, and it sets your standards really high for others
nobody (i think) is hating on the way the show turned
we all hate the extremely unsatisfying ending
to not go into spoilers: the ending invalidates all the feelings weve built up throughout the show about Zero Two and Hiro
Get ready for season 2 on 2021 :)
You have said everything that I have been trying to say since I saw the hate.
Ayo this made my day omg thank you for making these ❤
I did my job! Thank you for watching! :D
Finally, someone else who liked this episode.
You got yourself a sub
Thank you! :)
Trigger seeing this and they like "Frick he got us, fast make zero two a space ship, more aliens, make blow shit up" instead of making a happy ending. I recommend I actually liked the ending even though it is a bit weird
I liked it too I just wish they would have finally made it back to earth to be with their friends as they had promised 🥲
Perfect Analysis of this Episode i cant wait on Episode 21
I'm hyped for episode 21!
I just wanna watch one trigger show where the protagonist's love interest doesn't friggin' die, like...just one
I want that too
This series is coproduced with A1 pictures, remember
This dude just gave us straight facts bout episode 20 and holy shit I don’t hate the episode anymore thanks to him
Thank you finally someone who understands I've seen people bashing on this arc I was just as lost as they were
Ah..I got goosebumps when you said about communication and that we don't meant to be alone.
Thanks! Check out the latest video if you haven’t already!
Who else is rewatching after 2 years?
Perfect analysis and great presentation. Someone had t do this video, well done :)
No doubt this is the best anime i've ever watch , i dont mind if the director seems to rush the story , i loved the storyline from the start till end , and the plot twists inserted in the series . Thanks for your positive review mate !
Thanks for watching!!
Just Nerds i literally crying even i watched episode 20-24 for a few times tho..
Well done on the video.I did feel the episode was rushed not enough for me to hate the episode or the series but i still felt it was rushed and should have given more time. But your video just made me see the episode in a new light.Nice job.
And that’s all I wanted. Thanks for watching! :)
Thank you so much for making this.
Thank you for watching!! :)
Wow, you opened my eyes
now i don't feel empty inside, thank you so much
Can I just say that the screenwriter's smile is so freaking adorable?
damn you can say explain this sooooo good wow man props for understanding everything going on in the episode you deserve the likes and subs man keep on going
I believe it went to the right direction. This anime is truly a masterpiece
Honestly these reviews are so good
That... Really makes sense, I've been wondering ever since episode 20 came out if by any chance the whole craziness that occurred during it, and the shock was not result of poor foreshadowing and writing, but a deliberate decision from the writers. But I couldn't find reasoning for it.
What you said puts what I thought in new perspective, as I said. Now it makes sense. Thanks for this video man, keep up the good work. :)
Thank you for putting people in there place when they bashed the last few episodes
