Also, quite frankly spoiling a child like OP's parents did to Kim is basically cruelty. They totally set her up to fail by not teaching her to look after herself and live within her limits. Then they go all Pikachu face when she has such a drastic meltdown as an adult when her life falls apart. OP was the only steady influence in her life which is demonstrated when she is the one Kim tells about her success at work
