Most don't even maroon patios is a whole other level than the widely spoken one; that is why some don't want to acknowledge it as a second language or dialect but "broken english".

Jamaicans were primarily sold into slavery from Ghana and Nigeria. We are Ghana and Nigerian and a lot from India and Ireland as well. Small portions from Chinese(Hakka descent), Jewish and middle eastern but they’re weren’t enslaved. In order the people enslaved: Arawak groups, African, Irish, Indian(they made a large impact secondly after African culture, Chinese). Jewish and Middle eastern and German I think came a little after slave trade ended.

Sean Moonshine The Most High is against ALL religions. Religion goes back to Latin word, "religio", which means to hold back or restrain. To hold back from what? It was designed to hold back the masses from the actual truth of the scriptures. Look at the word "JewISH." The ish is a suffix that means to pertain to or to be like. Those people that's claiming to be Jews in Israel today aren't the biblical Jews of the scriptures. They're trying to pertain to or act like the biblical Jews/Israelites. That's one of the biggest lies ever told. Their biblical name is Edom..
In 1952, the second president of Egypt, acknowledged that those imposters in Israel today aren't the biblical Jews.
"You will never be able to live here in peace, because you left here black but came back white. We don’t accept you!” -Gamal Abdel Nasser (Egypt leader 1954 - 1970)
If the Most High say a nation of people are going to pay, then it's going to happen. It's nothing you nor myself can do about it. Look at my people today, we are still paying this very day from our forefathers disobeying the Most High's laws, statutes, & commandments. That's the true reason why the so-called white man took our people down. I'm talking about the Negroes, Latinos, Hispanics, & Native Americans. Those people make up the 12 Lost Tribes of Israel. We're His chosen people & we are paying for our forefathers' mistakes, so just think about what He's going to do the people that oppressed & murdered His chosen people.
Isaiah 14:21 "21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the INIQUITY OF THEIR FATHERS; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities."
Lamentations 4:22 "22 The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity: he will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins."
That's why the world is waking up to what race of people are truly & purposely destroying the earth, starting with the international banking families. I guarantee the banking elites of this world know that these Bible prophecies are true. That's why they're trying to setup their NWO agenda. They want to upset bible prophecy, but it's not going to happen..

Honestly, the similiarities between the maroons of jamaica and the akan of ghana is so striking. The Asantes(the majority akan group) in Ghana gave the british a hell of a time. Fought 4 wars, refusing to surrender. The maroons also resisting the british and being the first jamaican group to obtain independence. The stubborness and fight is in the blood. Clearly, the kromanti language and twi are similar. Truly descendants of the Akans.

@@carsade well you have to overstand the kingdom of Kongo was situaded in west central Afraka stretching from northern Angola, western Kongo Kinshasa aka DRC and Kongo Brazzaville aka ROC.
When people hear Kongo they think of the modern nation in central Afraka which was colonised by Belgium because its the biggest country in sub Sahara Afraka and have been through the worse genocide.
So when I said Kongo was talking about the kingdom of Kongo and not the current nations.
Lastly we have to remember Jamaica was not always controlled by the English but the Spanish too, these European nations brought enslaved Afrakans from the gold coast all the way down to west central Afraka.

don't go to people's country and spread misconceptions about them. The Maroons are not a forgotten people they are celebrated and honored without end in Jamaica and are taught about as we draw pride and strength from them and their teachings. how dare you title the video Jamaica's forgotten nation. They live in solitude which is one of the characteristics of the maroon people is to live in a natural way. Nobody will go up there and force them to assimilate like white people often do. That is the beauty of Jamaica there is individual and national pride. Focus on the forgotten nations you never learnt about in your pwn history books there is so much to find (especially the ones that your people massacred and erased from the anals of history.) Dwayne Thompson 🙄 Some black people are only interested in "getting my money" and "getting my Benz", "getting gyal" and having kids. I mean people certain people of Jamaican decent or black Americans.
Meanwhile, other cultures have a real life plan, build communities / businesses and know how to interact with others.
Meanwhile we (as a whole) are me me me me and let's bun a lickle spliff. FFS!!! 😒
You guys (in Jamaica) need a system like Qatar, where people work their contract then have to leave. If the government is corrupt, you need to find a way to get rid of it. Easier said than done. 😔
I've never understood why richer countries in Africa don't invest in raising Jamaica (and the Carribean) up, if we originate from there. It makes no sense. 😐
Surely Jamaica could be exporting natural remedies and setting up those little health shops (I'm other countries) like Chinese people do. 🤔 Don't limit yourself by only opening a shop that sells Jamaican food to the 10% of the population, that can't afford to buy imported food anyway. I don't have a clue about business, but I know that route won't get you far... You have to appeal to more people.
Kinda like... Do all that food ish, but have a post office counter in there as well. 🤔 Sell cleaning products as well. Envelopes.
I don't understand why Indian and Chinese people can do this, but black people can't, when Africa is a frigging continent not just a country and it's not like a land mass with flies crawling out of kids mouths, like we're lead to believe. 😒
      -----------
      Aaaaaaagghhh rant over.
The guy in the shop near me, knows what I mean. He's from Jamaica and even he said this is why black businesses don't get anywhere. It's not just because Chinese and Indian people have better contacts and infrastructure.
Sorry if my comments made anyway angry 😳

The way of living ( Cooking , hunting ,fishing, eating) gardening is similar to my place in the South Pacific. I think the Maroon's live the same way we the dark skinned South Pacific Islanders called the MELANESIANs live.
I will visit this place one day when I save up enough money for a Vacation.
The fruit that you're eating, we called it ' NAKAVIKA ' in my native language in the Pacific.

The table will turn😌 by the way not all of us want to be apart of this brain dead culture, some of us are actually woke now...

    • @carsade
      @carsade 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Thats partly because some blame the Africans allowing them to be taken as some Africans were actually given into slavery by there own people, also if they do not know where they are from how can they maintain a culture they have little to no knowledge of... The Americas is a melting pot of different races and cultures. It will be difficult especially for descendants of slaves to identify with their ancestors especially due to all the mixing and also the predominant white or European culture in US. Furthermore the Chinese and Indians who came to the Caribbean also impact or influence our culture, hence its more difficult to make claim to 'African culture'. West Africa is made up of different African countries who also have their individual cultures, i think that too makes it more difficult for people to try and make claims when they have no idea what part of the world they descended from.
The maroons are unique in the sense that they escaped slavery and managed to keep some of their culture in tact... Maroons i think, would also be a combination of Africans from different part of West Africa so u wud find bits of Nigerian, Ghanaian etc in their way of life with few influences from Europe.

Your stupidity and ignorance are epic. I praise Holy Abba Elohim / His Son Yashaya that they've well blessed, protected, and kept these my fellow Hebrew African Jamaican Scotts Hall Community Maroon descendant warrior brothers and sisters clearly well tightly unified (something we blacks in the USA/everywhere else worldwide to our detriment have yet to do / cannot claim) after centuries of resisting white European slavery and viscious racist control to still have, maintain, respect, protect and keep their land, way of natural healthy life environment, possess and control their own land, community, and destiny living away and separate from the white man's murderous racism, greed, theft, warmongering diabolical need to take everything never belonging to them. If anyone is an indecent and foolish "Nigga", it's you given your lack of understanding and insight. If the Jamaican Maroons wish to show their way of life, culture and also consider allowing and well-controlling visitors' tours for their own startup community business financial profit, that is their own right and the business of their community.
My only recommendation is that the Maroon brothers and sisters be very, very careful to entirely learn and well know Jamaica Island government laws originally established by, founded and based on white European British law and also understand that the UK and white people in general still heavily control black Jamaican politicians, still control and own the government, control school system, own the great overwhelming and most profitable private sector commercial and economic development tourism businesses, most beautiful and expensive residential/vacation beach land and homes, and the devils are certainly not incapable of finding and determining Jamaica's high hills natural countryside profitable and long ripe for takeover.
This is what the Jamaican Maroons need to immediately realize and be smart enough to well avoid via legal prevention, if possible, because the minute any white men or white women see the Maroon's community lands as not only beautiful, but both very desirable for residential living and very profitable businesses, the whites will quickly engage their leashed and owned so-called "black elite" Jamaican government "Nigga" coons whose pockets and bank accounts they'll increase to well assist them in deceptive communication and negotiations with the Maroons ultimately to disinfranchise, move them out, and take over their community and natural lands.

Maroons and Coromantee are descendants of slaves with Ghanaian roots.
words discovered in the video proves as such. I saw
Ghanaian Akan names like Abeng (horn) and Nyankopong ( God)..
Jamaica name was originally was coined from Akan word " Gyama ya ka" , meaning " we are stuck" . This after the slaves sent there found out they couldnt return back to their African home anymore.

You are welcome. Well in current day Jamaican patoi language. There are many Akans Ghanaian language words fused into it. There also still exist Ghanaian culture, naming and languages maintained by descendants of escaped slaves sent to not only Jamaica but Guyana, Suriman, St Lucia, Aruba and even further to state of Lousiana in USA. I would love to invite you guys to Ghana to explore with me someday, whenever you are able to do so.

Friedrich As a descendant of Maroons, you are right about the Ghanaian roots. However, Jamaica was not named after an Akan word. The Arawaks named is 'Xamayca' which I believe means the land of wood and water. Don't quote me on that but it is something to that effect.
