    Hi slidenerd,
    I have watched many tutorial videos but yours are one of the best. The animations are simple and perfect. The voice and style of speaking is very good. Editing is excellent, all time consuming and mundane tasks are bypassed. We also learn a great deal about other aspects associated with the main learning motive in a video. The Bam! you do when the mission is accomplished is something I wait for. Love you guys, the tutorials are easy to grasp and they don't waste precious time. One more thing, I haven't noticed any arrrs and ammmms while you speak, I love it. Keep posting.

      +Niket Singh thanks, you dont notices aaaaaas and mmmmmmms because i edit them out lol, i hate it when others do it in their videos so i avoid them in mine, if you would like to receive updates on more free stuff as I release them, you can subscribe to my email list at designcoder.io thanks

    I am from Germany and love the "forced accent". I am actually kind of sick of only hearing indish accents when browsing for android videos, no offence.

    slidenerd first of all this is the first time i have understood communication between threads , all thanks to your excellent series . i have two question if you can answer them :
    1) say we have an app that is downloading images in a list view , so we will have multiple objects of the ImageDownloader class and each of them will be sending message to the handler of the UI-thread regarding the progress of download . How will the Handlemessage know which instance send that progress.
    2)Why main Thread does not require Looper object to handle the message queue ?

    • @slidenerd
      @slidenerd  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      pulkit tyagi well for 1) most of them should support a unique identifier to do so, if they dont, then dont use threads, go for more sophisticated solutions like AsyncTask, retrofit or volley
      2)main thread is the daddy for everyone, it has a looper btw stackoverflow.com/questions/6558786/get-main-threads-message-queue-and-handler

    Sir, can i ask you what do you mean by "need only one Handler object per activity, and no need to register it", it is a process/activity automatically comes with a main thread handler? can i use method like "Handler handler = getHandler();" to instantiate a handler object?

    • @garyfxxk
      @garyfxxk 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      i know the getHandler() method doesnt exist but just want to clear up the concept

    I can barely see many people are commenting on this tuitor's voice or slang. I believe we are here to learn Android and not English or how to speak English. He may not speak in a good way but he put all his efforts to teach Android. Respect him if not you can very well goto other channel. Don't demotivate one's talent with your shit comment.

    slidenerd You English is good but you're pronouncing words that end with "age" totaly wrong. Letter 'a' in "message" is pronaunced like 'i' in "big"

    I think you are doing a wonderful job of providing free education. But one sincere advice, try not to force an accent. That is the biggest challenge I face in going through your videos. Many times, the viewers on your video will have motives other than casual learning and the forced accent can just put-off that mindset. Speak in your usual manner and I think you will see a lot better response.

      There's a pattern here Nick. From the audio, the guy is clearly an Indian. A lot of Indians try to force their accent. No offense meant, but what they think they sound like and what they actually sound like are often poles apart.

    • @dews1068
      @dews1068 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do not have any problem with his accent. If you have your way, I know you will want him to use only HINDI because that's how selfish some of you can be.

    great job with the videos. The only reason I can't watch many in a row is that you modulate you voice too much. Sometimes you talk at a normal pitch and sometimes your just shouting into the mic. It's almost impossible to set the correct volume. Please work on that.

      I have learnt from both the channels and i can't thank all you guys enough for these great videos..
      Really appreciate your effort.. Thanks a lot for those great tutorials.. Keep up the good work.
