Nice video, loved the discussions about the activities in the area and the shots in the mine.

Working my way through your video series in preparation for a 6 month lap with a 7 and 9 year old. We ordered a caravan with a similar layout just before the co vid lockdown. How much of your trip is pre booked vs just showing up? how have you planned your pace?

Wow! Your kids will have an incredible time at that age and are old enough to really appreciate and remember later in life 👍 we planned/saved for 2 years to then travel for 2 years and (before ISO came along) had broken the 2 years into 6 segments of 4 months each. What we have found is that planning to go to a region for a week and then make decisions on route and experiences on the fly works well and keeps it slightly planned but flexible as things just show up along the way - you meet people that give you a good tip or the weather turns to crap or whatever so you just change as it happens. We knew we were coming to Tassie for 2 months, but no real idea of plans other than we would head anti-clockwise direction. It keeps it exciting and it is really great to include the kids in the planning discussion each week do they are invested more! Look forward to hearing about your trip once it all unfolds... cheers!

Have you tickled a crab on the tummy. Turn crab over and the v at the back stroke softly and watch it go to sleep. Turn it over tap the shell and it will wake up. Check out Robbie fishing when he puts a yabby to sleep.
