I had a 85 CJ soft top, it took 30 seconds to take down and 2 minutes to put back up. This is ridiculous amount of work both for hard top and soft top. Good luck.
Best quality video I've seen from BN. Others were a bit amateurish, but this one was well done. Overall liking the options with this soft top. Disappointed that dual tops won't be an option at launch.
Quick tip to keep bolts from falling into the wheel well; rub your socket with a magnet for a few seconds and it will slightly magnetize the socket. I do this when using small screws to keep them from falling off the screwdriver tip.
Am I the only one who thinks this looks harder than it needs to be? Do you have to remove panels before you fold it back? Or can you just fold it back?
He literally said for position one you do not need to remove any panels. For position two, he did not mention it but you can clearly see the sections where the velcro is and where the panels would slid onto the soft top in the back move backwards and fold when he puts it into position 2, so yeah you need to move it for that one
easy load feature looks awesome, i wish my Jeep had this one... i prefer Jeep with the soft top, but loading things tru the back is kind of annoying when is big items and im required to zip open window
On the ford configurator you cannot get roof rails with the Sasquatch package. Does anyone know if that’s correct? Also can the hard tops roof panels be removed with the roof rails on? Thanks
So as far as I know due to Ford fitting the bronco within a certain class of truck they need to stay below a specific weight for the truck so as far as build and price(and probably the actual order of your truck) is concerned it is to heavy, but it has been stated by a Ford dealer who makes TH-cam videos that you will be able to order the top, the roof rack, and the brush guard(also not available due to weight) as a separate order that will arrive with your truck and can be installed by the dealer still. And as far as the roof I know for sure the first row can be removed and I think I’ve seen the second can as well but I’m not 100% on that row.

I ordered my Outer Banks 4-door with a soft-top, specifically so I don't *have* to remove the top when I want to drive around in a topless Bronco -- but it's cool to know they've made it so you *can* remove the top entirely if you want to. Everything in this vehicle is so customizable -- even when you're ordering it new there are far more options than the average new car these days. It's one of the things I like so much about the Bronco. Ford really seems to have hit a home run with this vehicle!

I'm a bit confused, Ford offers a "Bestop" option that looks similar to this for an additional charge. Is this the Bestop special option or the default soft top that comes with the vehicle?
I have one on order - hard top - where I live - this soft top would be slashed and broken into on the first night. Not to mention this looks like a serious pain in the ass to remove all those bits where with the HT you unlatch a few clips and done - and the fact this top - will leak in a year if you park outside.
This video convinced me to go for the soft top! I live in FL where it can rain or shine anytime, I want to be able to just flip up the soft top when I want! Great video

Y’all got me hype about my Bronco ! I thought I made a bad decision getting the softop at first , but learning how to take it off gives me some confidence it can weather the Midwest weather.
Don't keep anything in your car you can't afford to have stolen that's kinda a given with any kind of off road vehicles you can do the same sort of thing to a jeep

Question. I currently have hard top. I'm thinking of getting a soft top next summer. The top in this video retracts all the way back by the spare tire and looks easy to completely remove. I don't see this top anywhere to buy. Not even on Ford site. is it only available from the factory? That would be disappointing. The only thing I've found on the Ford site is the Trektop which only retracts to the back of the roof. It looks exactly like BestTop's Bronco soft top. Appreciate any info.

Yeah, I got so frustrated waiting that I traded my Mustang in for a Bronco Sport to kind of get an idea for the full size. I definitely recommend it. I've already been hitting the trails and beach. I love the BS and can't wait for my full size Black Diamond

Catch up? Jeeps the original and it doesn’t take them YEARS to actually release a vehicle. This Bronco is impressive but its competing with a model that’s been out for 3 years. If it didn’t have better tech it would have been a complete flop.
It kind of sucks that nothing needs to be unsecured from inside the car before removing those back panels. Basically, anyone who wants your back panel can just take it. And it would be nice if there was some kind of quick release mechanism to completely remove the top, instead of the bolts.
It looks *amazing* with everything removed ... just will be a real pain to accomplish, and then putting it back etc. But looks amazing in it's "naked" style.
Worst launch in automotive history. Your showing how to take down the roof on a vehicle no one owns and that doesn't exist yet. I can see half the people cancelling their orders because of the loss of excitement because of wait times. This is an old vehicle already and hasn't even hit market yet. This isn't bashing Ford I would say this to any make that has shown a vehicle so early before launching. Just a huge miss calculation on Fords part. Should have been in dealers months ago.
I just picked up my Bronco Black Diamond/soft top on 3/27 and boy it is bada$$!!! Sitting on 35’s with a 2”lift I am obsessed 🤩 worth every penny.

Man...I do a lot of solo trips to the trails. Maybe for one person, soft top is the way to go since you can do almost all of it alone.

This is TEN times easier than on a jeep
The first position can be done in 10 seconds and gives you 80 % open air, no reason to ever remove the windows.
Agree if I would ever get a soft top bronco, I would never remove the rear windows.
