MI3 and 4 are the best ones. But I enjoy them all. I rewatch them every single year. All, now 7 of them are on my top recommendations list for everyone. I have the first 3 on dvd and the rest on digital. Sure Tom Cruise is kind of a nut but he’s a fantastic actor and stunt person. The Mission Impossible series will always have a special place in my heart and I’m actually super excited for the 8th instalment that comes out in May. I’m counting down the days already.

The effort put into these movies is very big.. Tom Cruise with his team are still making entertaining movies with perfection.. So we should all support them.

Mission impossible scenes just feel real. It is kind of like the Fast and Furious stunts where it's just like that's neat but just not possible where mission impossible just feels like hunt is actually going through these fights / chases. Also same thing, my mom hates anything violent and will refuse to watch anything that has a fight scene but fucking LOVES mission impossible.

      You know. I agree.
We watched MI: Fallout last night and we just kept talking about how real the stunts felt because they mostly are.
Cruise has cracked the code on how to catch our attention

Ghost Protical was my first Mission Impossible movie and i loved it. Been enjoying each installment since then.
Going back, i didn't hate Mission Impossible 2 but its definitely weird. Not a MI movie and more a John Woo action film.

I actually enjoy M:I II, and think its more a better film than III. J.J. Abrams direction was a little too much like a made for television film. I do cut him slack for it was his first movie he directed though. John Woo has a distinct style of his own and, love it or hate it, the movie was very financially successful. Afterall, it was the biggest box office success of the year 2000.

I did not care much for the first or third, while completely avoiding the second. I even gave up on the fourth after 30 minutes, because I just felt the series had pivoted to being a bit goofy in tone. A subsequent full watch changed my entire perspective and I've enjoyed the franchise from that viewing onwards. The series became 'playful' instead of trying to be grounded or 'cool'. It's like a reverse crime caper adventure series, with the good guys employing many of the tactics and group dynamics of a heist team.

honestly , mission impossible dead reckoning , did not work , and wasnt that good , because it has become a bit stale , please see filmentos video on it . but i do agree all other mi movies are masterpieces

      It was good for me.
But yeah apart from that bike jumping sequence and the train sequence in the end, we did not have any death defying stunts.
And I am still not happy with ilsa's death.
I think it had a huge expectation which it couldn't meet due to being part one of the story and due to Barbie and Oppenheimer releasing one week after this movie was released taking all of the imax.
I still have hopes for final reckoning

Same but we do are seeing how this franchise is also becoming stale ..its not offering anything new anymore .. same time cruise doing stunts saving the world with face masks . And I think in the last movie only. Everyone got a bit bored with it

While dead reckoning is the weakest of the new set of the movies I don’t think it didn’t work. Saying that though, I’m hoping it’s more toned back style means that final reckoning is gonna be a full on movie because of it.

@@ryantsyWell working or non working is a subjective one . For me it didn't work . Cause it became too dry with just stunts and stuff . There wasn't any emotions in the scenes at all something I felt a bit also in fallout
