It's so funny. So many games where he's automatically labeled a villain or targeted because they "know" he'll win. But they always forget the 'busterin
It also doesn't do them any favors that most, if not all, of them are live-streaming their games. Meaning that if they try to shut down a conversation under the accusation of fillabustering, odds are that some of their own chat or Chilled's will riot at them for "being rude." In other words, its not that Chilled doesn't lose, its that he CAN'T lose in the setting they play in.
It’s because he knows a lot about the games so people are more likely to follow his advice. He’s also an expert at lying in these games and just seeming like a townie
It's all those thousands of hours of ToS and Among Us & other Social deception games, where he mastered, and became the truest form of himself.. Chaotic Neutral. Always telling some of the truth, whether he's good or evil (in some sort or another) as well as playing both cards and lying/tricking everyone 😅
I've been watching since 2012. I just want to say that i appreciate your videos. They got me through some hard times. I also want to say that larry is giving sark energy, and im here for it .❤
Jester is simply the best role No way it isn't Lying is fun but if it's your pure goal to lie and die you can do some goofy shit and people just get confused Its also fun to pretend to be jest just to majorly fuck with them
I feel like Doomsayer should not be able to guess random coven like that. But when guessing, he should be getting information. For example, if you guess conjurer, vigilante and wildling, it should say something like "One guessed correctly. There's no wildling in the game". Or "One of the coven guesses is of a wrong type" if you got conjurer and vigilante right, but wildling is actually a witch instead. Maybe two or three random pieces of information related to your guess. Could tell you how many you got correctly. Could tell you if you got a wrong type, but correct category on someone. Could with low chance even reveal to you one role that you guessed correctly.
Let the doomsayer mark someone during the day then at night they get a hint of possible roles for them like in the town of us mod. This way they can start narrowing down but still need to guess the exact role for the coven and town members.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but if the Medusa has the Necro doesn't it automatically stone the person as well? Because at 36:35 there isn't a stoning so that would show the Conjurer was the one with the Necro.
It does chilled won that game. Jester in among us isn't the same as TOS. the TOS jester (if hung) dies and is able to kill someone who voted guilty or abstained. But the second they're hung they win.
In ToS the roles that have conditional wins besides killing Town/Coven/Evil can win with anyone else. Jesster gets hanged = win, Executioner gets target hanged = win, Pirate winning 2 duels = win, etc. These roles just 'leave the town', allowing the game to continue for any surviving players. This means, for example, a game can end in a Jester win, Pirate win, and Coven win at the same time if the Jester was hanged, the Pirate won twice, and Coven killed everyone else.
you need to change the random town into a selection of town protect, town invest ecc, the thing you are having issues is that you can't confirm roles, evil can claim whatever they want and you can't really do anything , 1 fixed jailor and few roles and 1 or 2 random towns
I agree with that, I think there should be less random towns so Apocs have to actually convince people they are the specific role someone else claims. I think 2-3 RT at most, and rest should be specific ones.
I love how after the first night, Cheesy hangs Chilled, only for Chilled to be the Jester, I would say Karma at its finest, but then again, its more ironic than karma
There was a reason Vikram who was Seer used his ability the night before and it said that either Chilled or Cheesy was evil so Cheesy the prosecutor acted on that information. Jester will be considered enemies to Town Roles BTW.
I really want to get into TOS, I know it's a deception game, but I find it hard to follow and understand what exactly is supposed to be happening. Like, they stand around outside in the beginning, go into their respective house at night, there's text everywhere only some of which might be important, the person I'm watching occasionally types into a last will (usually something absolutely meaningless) and then the morning comes and some number of people are dead and if they have a will, it's read out, but I don't understand what parts I'm supposed to be paying attention to, what the player is using to come up with decisions, or what relevance the stuff they're typing has to anything being said or done, and I just feel completely and utterly lost. I know I'm missing something obvious that will make this game really enjoyable to watch, but I lose interest because I can't follow what's going on, then I zone out and become even more lost, and then I'm left feeling irritated and unable to enjoy the video, and I stop watching before the quarter way point :( This is what makes Among Us so easy to get into, you don't need to have played the game to follow what's going on, but TOS feels like it only makes sense if you've been watching someone play it from the very beginning, or have played it before. I hate being unnecessarily negative, and if you enjoy it then don't let me ruin it for you, and if you feel like trying to explain it then I genuinely appreciate it, and maybe you'll help me enjoy these videos, but currently I feel frustrated and lost every time I try to watch a TOS video, no matter how much I enjoy the content of the person playing it :(
The main issue with these guys playing it is that they don't necessarily play it correctly. This game is meant to be very heavily text based, so using discord and not writing wills messes up a lot in terms of sharing information in an understandable manner. The role lists they also use aren't very well balanced a lot of times, but that may be because they aren't playing with 15 players. Overall the game is not noob friendly when playing the game as intended. If they were to play the game this way in a random ranked lobby, they'd get banned for game throwing on the spot. There's a lot of intricacies and it can be hard to follow if you don't know all the roles in depth. I'd recommend watching a channel like Pipetron if you want to see some proper high level play in all any
@@colecostie I know chilled isn't the right channel to watch to see this game played properly, but I also want to support creators I enjoy, so it's a a bit of a catch 22. I might check out the channel you mentioned, but tbh I'll probably forget to look them up and end up just avoiding TOS content altogether.
I think it helped me to remember that modded among us (Town of Us) came from this game, the roles anyways. So that at least helps with some of the roles/mechanics. And yea, keeping in mind that this group plays silly. So it's just another deception/info gathering game like among us but they don't take it too seriously. There's investigative roles which will examine or watch people at night, and they'll get pop ups like "Ze visited Pasta" or "your target seems suspicious," and that's information they can bring to the town in the morning, and they should also document in their will in case they die so the town can use that info going forward. There's town power and support roles, like Jailer which can bring a person in at night and question them for info or demand their role. They can also choose to execute someone if they're suspicious of them. There's mayors and prosecutors, similar to Among Us. Also town killing/protective, like veterans and body guards which will wait at someone's house and if someone visits they'll kill them but also die. Evil roles can exist on their own or on a team. So you can have werewolves, serial killers, teams of apocalypse, teams of coven, pirates and neutral evils also like jesters, exe, doomsayers etc. A lot of evil roles have higher defense meaning some town killing roles can't take them out, like vigilante, so they have to be voted. (there are town roles with defense also). But Coven and Apocalypse teams can talk in the chat together at night and need to coordinate their attacks and stuff to kill off town and win. And same with town. Obviously jesters and exe/pirate have their own goals and can win individually. It is very similar to among us but much more text/note taking based when played properly. So killers need to pay attention to what is being said and hopefully make up alibis and fake roles ahead of time in case they get put up on the stand. Filibustering is much more important lol, Chilled is very good at that. Because there's limited time to vote and a limited amount of times you can put people up each day. Sorry this was all over the play, it's hard to summarize but I'm sure someone else can do it better. Modded among us was super overwhelming to me at first and so was ToS because it's a lot to learn. I just enjoyed the goofiness until I understood the gameplay but it's not for everyone
would be really nice if they would remove vikram from their group. hes the most annoying person ive ever heard in my life and his voice gives me a headache
Kinda like how in other games Chilled is often suspected because of his history, yet in TOS no one seems to figure out when he's filibustering
there's thousands of games lol and these are the ones where he gets favored
It's so funny. So many games where he's automatically labeled a villain or targeted because they "know" he'll win. But they always forget the 'busterin
