- In this video, my friend Thomas and I took the rig out to catch some speckled trout and redfish! We headed out of Foggy Waters Marina and went down the bayou to try the lake early morning! It was a cold and windy day! After getting almost to the train trestles, we realized it was too windy to fish! (Especially without a trolling motor) We then headed inshore but once again had no luck! Although we did not catch much, we had fun cutting up in the boat!

Nice boat man I just bought a havoc DBST 1653 with a mud buddy hdr 40 EFI this past August. Mine does great in shallow water but it’s a little sketchy in rough water. I plan on putting a minn kota terova on mine for the summertime fishing. It did great during duck season. I jumped logs and stumps and beat it to a pulp and she just kept running. A few minor scratches on the bottom of the boat but the hull has no scratches or is even missing paint. Only thing I’ve added to my boat was a Noel industries gas jug mount and a 6 gallon gas jug.
Good to hear! I got a few mods I'm going to do soon, the first being a trolling motor. Looking at a motorguide xi3! So far I absolutely love it!

What do you think about the stability of the boat? Also how it handles in rougher water?
Stability is great! 56 inches wide makes all the difference! It's still a duck boat but compared to others, it probably handles rougher water the best imo!
