Quick question: when talking about X/2 dartling, why did you focus on frozen bloons? The big advantage of X/2 is that the dartling gun can pop lead without being 4/X. You mentioned the lead popping just once in passing.
So I posted a video showcasing the Dartling's 3rd weakness, discounting the micromanagement requirement. Basically, it's higher level Regens. Here's what happens against the 4 Rainbow Regens: the 2/1 Dartling has to keep hitting things or its infinite range is an utter waste. So it has to hit the first Rainbow Regen right away. And THEN clean it up entirely before hitting any of the other Rainbow Regens ONCE. The reason being that if ANY Regen at level Pink or above with a higher max level is left alone, it regens to a level that splits into TWO MORE GUYS when it gets hit again. And a SINGLE Rainbow splits into EIGHT Pinks, so that's at least 15 hits you'd have to deal before any regen occurs or the effective RBE increases. Have fun doing that. You can see the impossible situation involved: the RBE increases from any allowed regen will add up FAST, so you have to leave the back regens alone and watch them get halfway safely, or attack them and end up dealing with too many targets that can get back to Blacks or stronger. The former could be manageable, but then the Dartling's own rate of fire prevents it from even being feasible to try, because those stray shots will inevitably hit the back regens. That's the big explanation to the sudden nightmare: a strength that generally is OP in most games becoming an unpleasant weakness. I have to say, though, that it IS a fitting weakness, given that the Dartling can still micro to avoid this nasty problem.
If you have the dartling dump specialty building, you don't need to do micromanagement, you can put your towers fixed. Or another trick, put the farms where you aim the mouse (in the range of), and then right click where you want the dartling to fix. Then you click elsewhere and it will make the game think your mouse is where you right-clicked. If you put back the mouse in the game box though, it will react normally and it will move. Like to get high in the comments :-)
Citadel Wars It is a correct pronounciation. The community of the game as a whole uses the term "MOW-AB" not "MOWB" While I do know a few people who use the second, the majority says the first.
Just a tip you can record a sound track of you not talking get that sound profile then remove it from your main track and you remove white noise then put some non copywrited music for a background it will increase the quality of your videos ;) great video by the way you have probably fixed this by now
..or just leave farms at the entrance so you don't have to move. The BADS looks like it might be useful on the spiral hills map on BMC, all of them could hit bloons, making it a safety against rushes.

The nerf they received a while ago degraded them so they only pop 100 bloons per tick--and all things considered, that's not a lot. The BADS took much longer to destroy the ZOMG layer itself, but wiped through the ceramics. Second test is 3 ROD or 6 BADS vs. 20 ZOMGs. Again, the RODs smashed the outer layers easily, but the ceramics and under did them in! The BADS, on the other hand, destroyed the ZOMGs slowly, but the children completely. I did a few other tests with them working in combination, and I think I have a good conclusion on how to go late game with strictly dartling guns. Get a good 5 or 6 BADS for bloon popping power, then spam the RODs for the ZOMG layers. Come late game, the ceramics and under become less of an issue (due to super ceramics leaving less children) than the blimps increasing in health constantly.
This is super true. I was playing btd just yesterday and a guy had max temples and i had max doombeams, he ended up losing to naturals on 109. It works even better with support abilities like the 2-4 ninja, 4-2 sniper, and others im sure.
my favorite tower is dartling, and how i use it is have tons of laser cannons (3/2 or 4/2) to destroy moab class bloons, then spam 2/4 's to take out the bloons comming out of there, i beat level 100 using almost only dartlings like that :D
Super, I understand your a Pro :) but, would you ever think about use the Spectre? (The AC-130 upgrade for the monkey Plane, its SUPER op, haveing 3 would take out a ZOMG,)
I beat hard mode on Roswell with only 3,2 dartling gunners and nothing like double cash or any speciality building to do it and without head start or reverse.
Pug Life well you can get the house for this tower and one upgrade that you can get through that house makes the tower un focused for your cursor wich means you don't really need to be good at this game to use this tower eficentley
4/x dartling guns can't actually pop infinite ceramics... try sandbox on brick wall down the straight away for proof of this. They'll slip through faster and faster after a few minutes.

You can beat wave 63 comfortably with 5x 3/1 to deal with the ceramic shells, and a 2/3 to deal with the leading edge of the resulting flotsam.
