Throughout my Natural Hair Journey going on 4 yrs now, I have had soooo many sets backs, I think about 3 to 4 which felt like 1000 to me lol. When we want those beautiful curly coils like all our sisters on TH-cam have we start trying many different things. I was frustrated cause I was in that ugly in-between stage, longing for a rapid hair speed to kick in and before you know it the "fall out happens" due to too much hair manipulation, not wetting my hair before comb-out, forgetting my 3 major steps after shampooing 4c hair.
And I was loosing hair length, strands and the breakage was bad!!!!! Not to mention life's everyday problems.
Well, I just knew I had to pull this all together cause "it ain't nothing for me to just CHOP"
it all off again BUT Y SHOULD I????
I had to do major REPAIR......
Which is just go back to the BASICS and I did. Now I am a Christian, and I really do bring EVERYTHING TO GOD! Since HE is my creator, my Father, and the one who gave me my hair and knows EVERY NUMBER of the HAIRS on my head. So, I put it all in GOD'S HANDS and trust that He would get me through this and He did. He tells us to bring EVERYTHING to HIM🙏🕊️🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

And the church says Amen! I’m so happy for your journey and breakthrough. It’s not easy to grow and retain length and I’m glad you did not give up. The journey gets frustrating at times but once you don’t give up, it will get easier ❤️

I just want to say is that you are correct. Stress is a MF. It can cause a lot of damage to your body. We all get stressed or stressed out. Only we can control that ourselves. No body else can do it for you. Now I know that on my hair journey which I started the last day of April of this year was taxing. I learnt to listen to my hair. My hair has its own voice. It let me know what it likes. So I use my herbs in everything. I make my spray water, oil and butter. The only thing I don’t do is put any oil or butter in my water solution.

Oh I forgot. I do put my oils in my shampoo and conditioner. I have very soft and fine hair. So with this said I can’t use the same method as those with thick hair. I’m a new subscriber and love your content. You seem more honest with your hair journey.

I agree with you 100%. I always say everyone’s hair is different and the needs are also different. Doing DIYs and including herbs can make the biggest difference in your hair growth journey.

Welcome to the channel. Thank you for your support. I have never personally put oils in my shampoo or conditioner but I have seen others do that as well. Different approach, same results.
