Hey friends! 😃
So, we recently took a trip to Shahdag Mountain Resort from Baku and it was an amazing experience!
We stayed there for three days and enjoyed all the winter sports that the resort had to offer.
The best season to visit is definitely during the winter months (from December to march) when there is plenty of snow and the ski slopes are in full swing.
The hotel stay was fantastic, with comfortable rooms and great amenities like the spa and gym.
The staff was also very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely recommend staying at this resort if you're looking for a winter getaway.
Since, we visited in the late winter (off-season) ie. in the first week of April, we booked our luxurious double room for 150 ₼ MANAT.
There was a complimentary breakfast included and we absolutely loved our stay.
In terms of winter activities, there is so much to do at Shahdag.
Skiing and snowboarding are the main attractions, but there are also activities like snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and even a snow park for kids. The resort also has a cable car and a snow buggy, which offers a unique way to experience the mountain views.
Overall, we think Shahdag Mountain Resort is the best place to stay in Azerbaijan for a winter vacation.

We r planning trip to baku in march 21 to 28..also include gabala and shahdag...is there any snow..what about climate
We were there by 1st week of April and enjoyed the snowy weather!
In March, there should be more snow in gabala & Shahdag, especially early in the month, but as it gets later, the chances decrease because spring is coming.
Always check the weather forecast before you go, to get the most accurate information👍

Snow in Baku is rare, but it typically occurs during the winter months, primarily in January and February👍

We are visiting shah dag in September. Any possibility to see snow at least on mountain tops far away?
Chances are less!
In September, Shahdag offers mild temperatures of 10°C to 20°C, perfect for hiking and outdoor activities, though snow is unlikely.
The best time for snow is from late November to early March, when temperatures dip to -5°C to -15°C!!

Hi friend, We had a delicious meal at the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel, and the prices were quite reasonable. However, they didn't offer any Indian food options 👍

We rented a car for a week in Baku and drove by ourselves 👍

No, we need an International Driving License for driving in Azerbaijan!
And we booked in “CarHire Baku” through Booking.com!
