Thanks for the video guys. Could you explain why deploying to 'All Device but with filters' is preferred to deploying to a group? One takeaway was that it gets the polic faster, is that right? What other reason are there? Cheers.

Hi Andrew, yes absolutely. The virtual groups for all devices and all users are a "catch all" to make sure every device that you want to target get the policy or app.
There could though be a possibility where a given filter fail. We have seen that, and then your policy would unfortunately target a wrong device, which could be bad for the given circumstances. We recommend to use it but use it carefully and with policies that does not harm your devices if you at some point see a filter failing.
In large environments, we recommend still use of AAD groups and add your devices to the group you like to target.

The notifications could be good for onboarding material, not everyone is familiar with company portal for example. I think that feature is neat for new users.

Have you tried the Enrollment notification for Apple devices - it won't trigger for me (both push and email). I have deleted the old device both from Intune and AAD (device) before enrolling 🤷‍♂

Hi Bobby, haven't tried that out. Does the docs discover anything you miss for the function to work?
