I bought a used 5 series as it was my dream ....but after two services I sold it ...I spent almost 50% of my salary on its services ... owning them for a middle class person is such a pain in the ass

Buy a land cruiser if one has the money for a Audi q7, it is also equally luxurious, has a v8 , has enormous road presence, and most importantly will run cheap and has good resale value.
Audi has the brand value a toyota land cruiser just cant compare.
Eyes will roll on a Q7. Meanwhile people will just assume the land cruiser to be another pajero or old endeavour

@@CatchAMile some people like this, buying a car like pain in Ass and the middle class guy servicing their car to road side mechanics ( to save some money ),if the middle class guy service their car/bike in authorized service centre, there see the service bill the reaction like cheap people (fight for money matters).
This explains why used premium cars segment is always flooded with Audi's....so that 4 rings r actually holes to pocket and symbolize that u need to drill them on the walls of a local bank too to maintain them....

Plz tell why they dismantled the Engine & why u allow for the Engine dismantle? I had Q7 3.0 tdi 2012 same as u show with 18 inches tyres done 50,000 km no problem at all right now I'm done 4 services all r from outside the dealership I'm doing service at every 12500 km, one time at 40,000 km I'm replace front & rear brake pads that totally cost me 10,000/- rs & for regular service I'm doing air filter, oil filter & 8.5 liter fully synthetic engine oil & total cost of service not more then 6000/- rs only & one time I'm replace all 4 tyres that cost me for rs 30,000/- at 33,000 km & for battery DIN-100 Model 10,000/- rs only that's the total I spend on my car as on today from date of purchase.......such a very good vehicle 👍
Total cost for 4 services 25000/-, tyres=30,000/-rs, front & rear brakes=10,000/-rs, battery=10,000/-rs total=75000/-rs for 50,000 km that means 1.5/- rs per km cost for total maintenance as on date from the date of purchase

And coming to service, outside is cheaper but I was just worried all these years to give it outside. Can you share the details of the service centre ???
Bro u need not to worry about service centre I had lots of service centre list all r working same insaan ko khud effort karna padta hai & always b smart, when u want to service ur vehicle plz contact me, & tyres a lots of tyres companies like Comforser, Kenda, & almost 10 to 15 companies available in the same price bracket 7 to 9 per tyre & the tyre size is 255/55/18
Agar apki Q7 75 to 80 chal gaye hai toh u first change the gear oil & gear oil filter & clean the whole manifold, EGR, all manifold related pipes it's a 1-2 day job atleast & total labour for whole thing 4 to 5 thousand only u make ur mind first
Average tyre life is almost 30 to 40 thousand km & do one thing more rotate tyres every 5000 km front to rear & rear to front

You can DIY most of the repairs you have mentioned, except new tyre mounting. I always try to repair or install most of the stuff on my car myself, except oil changes because oil change at my Lexus dealer is very cheap and I won’t save much on it if do it myself.

I heard that owning 2nds luxury car is double disaster. Cause only buying cost reduced but service is double due to its age n wear and tear.

Till today I have a automatic CIVIC ( old version ) , skoda SUPERB ( 9:75 LACS ) , Audi A4 (14 lakhs ) , BMW 328i (7:75 lakhs ) & also Audi Q7 (15 lakhs ) all cars I puchased , are second hand & all ate in mint condition. It requires not mote than a service in each 5000 kms interval. Though my daily running is very low but still once some parts has repaired it tun for a long time. I do all such mevhanical works ftom Mohan Motors , do search for a nearest service centre , & purchase one luxury car , don't worry. But before buy always take a moyor expert with you.

I believe engine need to take out for cleaning the oil, coolant path ok. In our states there are mechanics from UAE they handled this type of machines, and they can do it cheaply

The Audi service is very expensive. After warranty I think imo it’s better to give it to Bosch service centre. I heard they r pretty good.
We bought a second hand 2012 Audi Q7 and the car was never given to service in 5 years as we checked the records and the seller mentioned they serviced in local shop 2 years back. We decided to give it to Audi for service as we got the car in a steal of a deal...! The bill for service was 4.8 lakhs...its worth the service considering it was not properly serviced for 5 years...! But, it nearly gave my dad a heart attack😅
One interesting point to note is that dealerships make money in servicing and not selling a car. So that’s why servicing is expensive.

Unpopular among indians . There was an audi a6 launched with 3.0T v6 engine that came with a supercharger from factory around 2012 and later , the same engine in audi s4/s5 . Just pulley upgrades and ecu tunes with a good intake will return 450+hp and can pretty much match bmw m2 level performance. You will get the car used for 20L and the upgrades will be like max 4lacs . The returns are insane!

Any German Luxury Car Brand will cost very high on Maintenance after 3-4 years of usage, German Luxury brands are less Reliable , Lexus or Land cruiser Prado is more Reliable and comparatively better on maintenance.

All of this would cost you 80 to 90k in chandigarh....we have hundreds of machines here with years of experience in high end cars...they even repair Bantley ,lamborghini everything.......same problem all over the world even in America the service center charges atleast 10 times extra for the same job ....

Why would they want to open a sealed engine ?? Unless u r crank has given up or engine has seizures or crank bearings have given up ..
They told some engine oil is leaking so they have to open up the entire engine to repair the leak.

An Audi does not need so much of service unless it was not used for 3 years untouched or the car was under water or had an accident plunging into water.
I own an Audi A4 Avant (2005) and an Audi A1 2011 in Cayman Islands. Yes, the service is expensive but not as mentioned in your video.
This was purely the target of the Audi service station.
My recommendation is to please send an email to Audi Germany and post it on FB,tagging Audi official web page.
*It is an expensive car and this brand is for those who really has the money to spend*. But the service was a rip off and unacceptable.

One thing more u don't forget gear oil change of ur vehicle bcz u already show that ur vehicle is already run=76000 km & every 75 to 80,000 km need a gear oil change required

If u want a luxurious and reliable car go for a lexus (Toyota) . The general service is a little expensive but way cheaper than the germans and u won't find any parts going faulty . And also japanese manufacturers don't completely disassemble the engine and all major parts even for a high mileage service . I wonder why complete engine disassembly was required on the audi ?? 🤔🤔 Maybe they want to make more money !?

I currently own an Audi Q5 and an Audi A6 but the service cost has never been this much. The average service is around 40k and the major services go up to 60k or sometimes 80k. 5L is unheard of. This particular dealer may be a bad one.

You should have personal mechanic who is very expert in both super bikes and premium cars. Many service center thay actual does not do what they mention in service sheet and will not change the parts even.
That’s a good idea. But if we don’t get it serviced from authorised service centre we may loose the warranty.

These cars are like elephant. They take a lot. I has mercedes s 500 and its all air suspensions are leaked and each one cost around 150k including labor. Then my gear command shifter (computer chip) gone bad costing around 60k. Then window motor goes down... These cars are fun to drive. They can spoil you but costing a lot. Even my another audi a4 catches fire and burnt down because of wiring system fault. Crazy.

Its better to visit these authorized dealers for regular service alone like engine oil,transmission oil n oyher coolants change alone..
Any parts or major work can ideally be done by a knowledgeable mechanic who sources parts frm the vendors who supply to these audi's n BMWs.. Im pretty sure. Total actual cost of fixing ur ABS as well AC might hav not been more than a lac wrin u hav spend close to 3 lac for it alone..
N i wonder wats the quality n durability of these germans.. 6 yrs down the line n just 76k done AC n ABS is at fault ? Wonder wats the need to pay a premium money for a not so durable vehcile..
