That’s a great question. Yea the mic 2 has internal memory. I literally have to press record on the transmitter and record on the drone at the same time. That’s why the videos are long and not broken up. Would have taken me twice as long to have synced the audio and video files together. Would be great if in future versions you could pair the drone to transmitter directly. You could also pair footage to receiver on camera or iPhone but I don’t think the range would be that great. The DJI Mic 2 you will need to purchase separately. You can now buy the DJI mic mini which is newer. The mics can be paired with most devices but does not directly pair with Avata 2 drone.
