But it will take literal days! (Daily missions) So grab all the loot you can before picking a side. Some of these items can be acquired by doing different missions (for example the Chinese stealth armor) but they can still also be purchased once the required rep is reached and the final mission has been completed if you were locked out of the plans earlier
Alan Ulloa daily quests that are relatable and reset each day, miscellaneous quests for the factions and just helping around like giving them stuff, even some dialogue options can give you reputation
From what ive seen you are never locked out of either faction. The only thing is you cant finish the main quest with both sides but you can get to the point right before the final quest with both. You will only ever lose rep with a side if you pick a specific option during a daily on the settlers. Even after the main quest you can still do the dailys with both sides after the questline. I would recommend anyone going to the point of no return (the game will tell you when you are about to make that option) on both sides, then choosing your side. (P.s. never use a strength check in this dlc. %100 of the time it just gets you no reward)
@@saltycrusader3107 are you talking about the free radicals? If you use the strength check on them you never get a legendary mask at the end of the wayward. If youre referring to something after the side with settlers i have no idea i chose raiders because it has better quests and writing

There is a weapon called Slugbuster that you can only get by siding with Crater and being nice to Ra-Ra at all times. Asking her to explore will net you one of the best uniques in the game. Siding with crater still allows you to unlock the chinese stealth armor as well, making it the better option if you want everything.
Do all the missions for both side before you start breaking into the fault then u can get both rewards I did all of them and now siding with the raiders after I got some cool armor and stuff from the settlers
So far Wastelanders has been a nice, big step forward for the game in my opinion. Yesterday I updated my game and played through up until the part were you truest have to make the choice of you want to have help you break into the vault. I’m planning on choosing the Foundation, because I’ve done all the quests leading up to it and who the hell doesn’t want Chinese stealth armor like duh
Jonathan Simpson actually to get it you have to be at max rep with raiders. I just got it today I grinned for a week around 45 hours server hopping the Ohio river mirelurk method. If you don't know what that is you go to the docks near Camden park and he nuka cola plant and in the shack at the end of the dock there's a guy talk to him and defend agains some mirelurks, once don't talk to him again for 50caps and raider rep. Afterwards leave and server hop and repeat. THIS IS A GRIND I'm not going to lie to you but the reward is worth it. The ammo constructed automatically prints rounds of your choice over time just place it use its built in terminal pick an ammo type and there you go
The only heavy weapons I've ever got to use has been the Automatic Grenade Launcher, Bunker Buster, and soon to be a Gatling Gun. Now, I think I'd settle with the Settlers even without the rewards. Those are just icing on the cake.
You are able to stay at good reputation with both factions so you can get all the rewards. And to get all the quest rewards you just do both the raiders and the settlers questlines up until the point of no return...
I'm confused where there are the separate questlines. Do you mean daily quests , I'm doing the vault tec uni overseer quest and havent seen any sort of side quests for either faction and not sure on where the point of no return is.
@@Metaldoodd keep doing the quests with the overseer and when prompted to get assistance from the leaders talk to both and do all the quests for both until the title of their quest is "siding with (name of faction)"
Question if you do finish with example the Settlers and beat the game with them will you still be able to get the things from the raiders in the waste land or do you lose the chances to get the gauss gattling gun forever ?
FireRabbit I wouldn’t advise that. It will take time to reach Ally rep with both, but gold will take WAY longer to grind for. You can only get up to 200 daily and an additional 300 from buying it with 6000 caps. Everyday you spend not grinding for the gold, that’s an additional day you’ll need to get the gold for whatever you want to buy. By the time you reach Ally with both, you’ll see people running around with the items you’ll want and you can’t trade for it either. The only items you can trade are Bows. It’s up to you though so I won’t judge. That was my original plan and it still kind of is. The only thing I really want is the ammo convertor from the Raiders and possibly the Gauss minigun. Everything and Anything else does not really peak my interest so I don’t really need to grind as much for my own sake as I don’t really want to go for anything else.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Lawbringer Yep, you can. You won’t have as much Reputation with them as you will with Foundation since you didn’t side with them. It’ll be a bit longer to max them out.

I got the chinese stealth armor plans doin the main quest for the settlers, just did the missions up to siding with them to get xp and faction fame. Im actually siding with the raiders and doin their dailies cause i like theyre stuff better lol
Cosmic Armageddon Find them, you cannot earn them. The only way to find them is by getting Regs. Which he sells all strangler heart and T-65 power armor.

Like if the settlers ask you to track down some missing equipment and you sell it to the raiders, you'd lose Settlers rep but gain Raider rep. Whereas if you kill the raider and give back the missing equipment to the settlers you won't lose any rep as there were no witnesses
Can someone tell me what happens to the other side when you pick a side? Are you banished from even entering the base or can you still go in and do side quests for standing and stuff?
Javier Fotine I aided with the Settlers after the main quest line and I went to check on the raiders and they didn’t shoot me on sight they were like whatever. And yes you can still do their quest. And also they will be disappointed at you for choosing that faction you rolled with, however you can still do their quest and get the rep up.

Probably people who play power armor, gauss minigun is a big reason for that. Bloodied stealth builds seem to be better off with foundation tho

The ammo auto constructor makes ammo for you like the munitions depot but at your camp. Yeah screw the guass minigun I’d rather have unlimited ammo.

I’m about to grind to ally with both before doing that last quest in the main story.... yay
FireRabbit I wouldn’t advise that. It will take time to reach Ally rep with both, but gold will take WAY longer to grind for. You can only get up to 200 daily and an additional 300 from buying it with 6000 caps.
