Becoming an agronomist yourself, and teaching people how to grow gardens, then taking clients for garden design, and using your farm labor as landscapers to build, is a great way of meshing together multiple components of agriculture, while keeping employees busy with side work during these slow wholesale times.

What plants did you sell? I'm really thinking about getting into it...there are no herb specific gardens in our area or any niche gardens for that matter.
You dont have to throw away ...try chopping them up sell as dry herbs or grinding them up into Powder put them into shaker and done ....innovate out of you problems brother otherwise keep up the good work.!
So sorry that you did not have someone to advise you to grind and bottle the herbs instead of throwing it away. If you want ideas for anything always ask a woman because our brains never stop working.
I am sorry for your loss and it broke my heart to know you just composted all those herbs. Maybe you work towards adding value to your products to give them a much longer shelf life and more income for you.
