Omg.. just wanted to say you really help me. I have THE WORST anxiety/panic attacks and your videos help me so much. Your so positive and so calming, it literally gets me through a bad moment! Thank you for that
Hi! To take the stain off is to wash the stain, put soap on top of it and put the dress out side turned to the sun. The sun will help in taking the stain off. I don’t know if it will do, but you can try it. You can also put milk to take off the stain. Tell me afterwards if it resolved the problem. Best wishes, Carla. 😊
Blue dawn and vinegar... heat the solution just a bit ( 30- 40) seconds, put on the stain. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes and work the stain... launder as usual.
Yes! If you wash it and some stain is still there, you can treat it and wash it again....just don't put it in the dryer until you're sure the stain is gone.
PSA on that Tarte Juicy palette - if you already own the larger Juicy palette, you own all the shades in the smaller version. It's just an edited version of the limited edition one.
Hey I watched your Disney vlog on Tyler's Channel and I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed his mom's takeover lol she seems lovely, and I wish she was my mom. You guys are so lucky❤️
I remember when Jess was sooo beauty focused and I love that she moved away from that and isn’t afraid to be like “my child is running around like Godzilla and look at this cool thing in my cabinet”
Puracy natural stain remover at target in the baby section, believe me is the best, I’m obsessed cleaning my socks removes all the dirt I use it on everything that I though it was impossible to clean like blood. Try it.
I have a pair of suede Majorca cutout heels from TOMS that I bought in 2017. I wore them almost every single day to work for 2 consecutive years, and would walk for 20-30 minutes every day on my lunch break. Never gave me blisters and they’re STILL kicking to this day. Wearing them to a wedding later this month 😂 they were a great shoe investment and great quality!
Speaking of oily scalp...I had been noticing that my hair was getting more and more oily over the last year and it has gotten so bad this Summer! My scalp has also started itching and I didn't have this issue before. No change in shampoo or products. I was stumped! So I looked it up and there is this issue during quarantine where our stress hormones have been increased for so long that it has caused so many of us to get a condition from the increased oil production called SD. It is a dermatitis that comes from the increased oil production. It will resolve with decreased stress and time, but a clarifying shampoo once or twice a week can help. Don't wash your hair every day as that can make it worse. Just a PSA in case anyone else has had this issue and didn't know why. Quarantine, the news and a recent car accident were enough for my body to just say that it was DONE!
I wear what I call disposable white. I buy old navy or target shirts or tanks on sale so if I spill on them or they get ruined being bleached I don't care, and then because they are thin usually that become sleep shirts and if they're cotton they get cut until wipe sized squares for makeup removal rags.
I use blue dawn on ALL of my stains and it’s a miracle worker for my husbands stains. Occasionally I need the blue dawn plus a stain remover such as tide stain spray or something. I use it on the stain while the fabric is dry. Then I get a toothbrush wet and scrub the stain. I let it sit for a while (a couple hours or sometimes a couple days if I’m not doing laundry for a while) and then I throw it in with my regular laundry.
I personally feel like it might be. I prefer it for my dishes also. It’s usually a thinker consistency. I tried using the new spay dawn dish soap on stains because that seemed like it would be so convenient. But it’s not effective. It even works on set in stains. I’ve bout clothing from second hand stores or garage sales and made them good as new.
Video request/idea for you...was watching your Disney vlog and it looked liked you had two ear piercings with stacked hoops. Super cute look! Would you do a video on your favorite earrings and how you style them and/or favorite jewelry? I've had a hard time finding good/quality pieces that aren't crazy expensive!
Thank Saints. A new Jess video is always the best but today it means I can take a break from bringing moving/packed boxes up from the basement to the garage. Ya girl is tired
Thank you for sharing the pillow! I’ve also dealt with neck and shoulder pain for years and chiropractor isn’t really helping. Hopefully works for me 🤞
I don’t do good in white either🙈 The oxy set in stain gel is AMAZING!! Also I take the oxy powder stain remover in a tub. I soak my piece in it in a sink with cold water and the oxy powder and I actually add dawn dish washing liquid on the spot along with the oxy powder and then soak it in it and it took paint and markers out of my kids clothes. But the set in oxy blue gel works really good. It has gotten about anything that was set in off my clothes if you can find it. Sometimes it’s hard to find around my area now. Love you Jess!!❤️
Fellow mom and avid coffee drinker here. I am also notorious for spilling food and drink all over my shirts. My BEST stain fighting advice is getting Oxy Clean Max force spray (or the regular one, that works too) and spot treating the stain, no matter how old! Let it sit for about an hour or more. Then soak it for at least a few hours in a solution of the OxyClean powder with water which you can get at Costco. This method got out dried out blood from my son’s pillow and sheets from a bad nosebleed. I also do this to keep poop stains from setting in my newborn’s onesies.
Your makeup is gorgeous today! Love these favorites and fails. It's always refreshing to me when I hear honest reviews and opinions that aren't sponsored, just the honest to goodness bottom line of how some products work... And don't work in everyday life💕
Jess, use a Tide Pen! It works every time on stains for me. If it’s a stubborn stain, it might take a few times, but in the end the stain is no match for the Tide pen!
Hi Jess, Hyaluronic acid washes + products are best used under moisturizers and lotions. HA pulls water surrounding its environment (aka ur skin) so if you feel drier after using a HA-based item, make sure you moisturize after.
For stains, I use dawn dishsoap and rub it in the stain and then I also spray the stain with Shout stain remover. I used to just use dawn dishsoap for grease stains but then I found out it helps with all stains!
to get all our stains out of clothes we use either folex, or if its an old stain we make a paste from baking soda and peroxide and let it sit on the stains for a couple hours before throwing in the wash. it has worked for us for YEARS
The timing here couldn’t have been more perfect since I’ve been looking for a pillow to help with neck/shoulder pain! Just bought the one you linked, thank you 🙏
I have both palettes and the shades are fantastic. I bought a trio of tarte palettes and that is how I ended up with the smaller one. Beautiful palette!
my bestie turned me on to using folex (yes the carpet cleaner) as a laundry stain remover and it’s amazing. if all else fails on those stains, give it a try. it got chamoy out of my favorite pants and iykyk
If anyone is interested in those Toms sandals - there is a very similar pair in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for $44.90 and a lot of sizes are still in stock.
There’s a brand called Tuscany candle that sells a candle “Stressless” that smells a LOT like Love Spell. I know here in central Ohio we find it in Kroger, which if I’m not mistaken there are Kroger in Indianapolis too! 😄
Hey Jess! For your white dress, Clorox bleach pen! You can apply the bleach to the stains directly, then wash. I usually don't use bleach, not great for our waterways, but sometimes used sparingly, it's a miracle for stains on white things. :)
I love your faves videos that you talk about so many different things, because I always find 1 or 2 items that I save in my “gift ideas” for Christmas or birthdays LOL You are amazing!
Yay shout out to hot n flashy! Love that sunscreen and found it because of her. However! I found the Paula's choice one because of you, Jess. For summer the Elta MD is great but in winter I need to mix it with Paula's choice because the Elta MD is too dark. Love my two favs TH-camrs recommend the same stuff!
I love vanish for stains 🙏🏻 It's a spray that you spray on the stains a couple of minutes before washing them. It works really well and have used it for coffee stains on my own clothes 🙈 I really love that you talk about other favorites too and not just makeup (even though I love your makeup recommendations) ✨
stain removal goodness that have saved my thrift finds: borax and vinegar in the wash - pre-scrub with lye soap if you can, and then hang dry outside so the sun can help with the bleaching (and you don't bake any stains in in the dryer)
I 1000% agree with the pillow. It's called a D-Core Cervical Support Pillow. My Chiropractor got it for me a few years ago & it literally changed my life. I suffered the same way you did & I'll never go back. Also something to note...my insurance covered the cost of the pillow so it might be worth checking into 😉 Also try peroxide for the stains. If it can get out blood maybe it would work.
I recently had the same situation with tea on a white shirt. I used the oxyclean gel stick and it came out, but only after three treatments. I just checked it after each wash and treated again and put right back in the wash, no drying in between. Tea stains are notoriously hard to get out even harder than coffee.
If spot treating doesn’t work you can always tie- dye it!!😘😘 that’s what I did to all my white stained tanks.. you can even have Gigi help, my daughter did. Great job on mine!!
Absolutely adore you as a TH-camr. Drama free, full transparency, and incredible videos. Yours Tyler’s vlogs are so good😍. You said you wish you had a candle that smelled like love spell from Victoria secret? I don’t have a candle……. BUT scentsy wax melt in “lucky in love” .. Exactly that. You’re welcome hahaha . Love you Jessica from Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️
For clothing stains, pick up a bar of Fels Naphtha ("yellow") soap in your local supermarket in the laundry section, take an old, soft toothbrush, and very gently rub the stain on the back and front of garment. Leave it on for a few minutes or so, then wash the garment. Voilá, stain is gone. Old standby stain removing method used by my Mom, my Grands. It has even worked for me for items that have previously been washed and dried, like sheets that I'd overlooked coffee stains on. Try it and see, although there are other great suggestions for stain removing here in this comment section that interest me as well. Love your channel and your picks, as always! ❤️
And just as I tell myself I need to calm down on the spending you literally give me a list of the things I've been wanting and needing 😂 especially that pillow! Might have to splurge there because ya girl is suffering. Thanks for this video, lots of stuff to add to my wishlist!
I just bought it! I have fused discs in my neck & am currently receiving acupuncture & chiro care. I hope this pillow is the magic for me that it is for Jessica!
About the stains. LEMON JUICE --squeeze a lemon on the stains lay the dress out in the sun until the spots are dry. Wash per usual. Hopefully, the coffee comes out. I got rust stains out of a white skirt this way --it happened repeatedly because the metal zipper rusted every time it was washed (yeah there used to be metal zippers LOL). Just be sure to wash out the lemon as soon as it's dry --citric acid can be rough on fabrics. Good Luck! I enjoyed the video!
@@dreamscape405 Beige only works if you’re a light skin tone. For me, it’s essentially like wearing white. I need a brown bra and that’s hard to find, for some reason. It’s frustrating which means I can’t wear light tops or top made of thinner material.
Can't believe it's August! Hubby & I celebrating our 25th anniversary Tuesday...time flies! Love your favorites...reminds me to add things to my list...specifically the Flower highlight! Been using EVA Nyc for a couple years. Love that leave-in....the scent...TDF...wish they made a perfume in that scent but have been using their oil on my arms, etc during the summer. Smells sooo good!
I hope you continue doing this series for a long time because you seriously have the best recommendations! Off to try the pillow, tree hut scrub that smells like Victorias secret, and let’s be honest almost the rest of the list 😬
Great favorites you have there 😀getting my list ready ! BTW I went to Ulta yesterday to get frw of your recommendations: l'oreal shine 300 ,Nyx lingerie xxl strip'D Down and milani cream blush Nude kiss 110 . Love all of them 💕thank you Jessica 😊❤
Ok hopefully you read this... I tend to turn to your channel because you're so soothing and absolutely 💯love your laugh! Anytime in down I enjoy a video where you laugh a lot. So of course I'm watching you today, way later than you posted, and I'm like yeah ok sure and you say "pillow" I'm like bruh! I've had the similar pains and headaches for years! I'm like what the heck ,chiropractor ect all of it tried it nothing. You say get this pillow, your girl will be getting this pillow! Love you videos, thank you for making my day 💕
Jess a candle that smells like love spell (in my eyes) is at target! It’s by opal house and the scent is pink champagne. It’s not exact but as close as I’ve smelled. The candle doesn’t have the best throw but the reed diffuser is amazing!
I feel that way about the Australian Gold tinted BB cream sunscreen (also recommended by Angie at Hot & Flashy). I don't wear anything else for makeup. It's stunning & so creamy!
Best stain remover: 1/4 totally awesome cleaner (yellow), 1 scoop oxyclean, 1 Tbsp tide, 1 tsp downy- I put it in a half gallon jug and mix with hot water- best part is you can find everything at the dollar tree. I also use this mix in my carpet shampooer.
Flush the stain from the back side of the cloth for like 15 minutes then rub dish soap or laundry detergent into stain. Soak in cold water rubbing the stain every 5 to 10 minutes for 30 minutes. If the stain isnt gone repeat for 15 more minutes.
Juicyjas kept talking about Method body wash and the Flamingo daily moisturizing lotion. New holy grails! I’m completely hooked on them both. I was using the La Roche-Posay balm, but the scent of that drove me crazy. The scent of the Flamingo one is almost spa like and it still melts into the skin really well like the other one. Highly recommend💜
Random but best stain remover ever is zote soap. I swear by it. You can get it on Amazon it’s a bar you wet the clothes rub it on and it scrubs right out. Old stains, blood, baby blowouts, anything. It’s incredible. I got my whole family using it. Will never use anything else!
@@crystalcrouch2017 You’re welcome! Give it a try! It’s the Mineral Matte Tinted Face Lotion SPF 30 from Ulta Beauty. I’ve used Elta MD forever and this is the closest dupe I’ve found. (personally, in my opinion, lol!)
Shout stain remover, comes in a blue bottle w a little scrubber on top. It’s s really helped me out even w older stains that have set in to clothes for a while, this stuff gets it out in 1 wash.
Essence cosmetics came out with a new bronzer and highlighter and a few other stuff, it’s the Glowin Golds Vitamin line. I think the bronzer is a dupe for the Kosas bronzer!

Make sure the stain is out before you put it in the dryer because the heat will set the stain, and it won't come out.
Yes! If you wash it and some stain is still there, you can treat it and wash it again....just don't put it in the dryer until you're sure the stain is gone.
If the stain does not get out all the way after you wash it, leave it out in the hot sun and that should fade it away

That elta MD sunscreen/moisturizer is my HOLY GRAIL.
Those sandals…you had me at “wide”. 😍
Exotic bloom is where it’s at!! Tree Hut for the win!!!
I literally just spilled coffee on my light blouse when you mentioned your stain !!🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😘💋💋
Love you videos, thank you for making my day 💕
I got the Toms sandals from Poshmark and I loooove them, surprisingly very comfortable!!
I am loving your real YT product videos clearly NOT a BOT!! Or a shill. Thank you Jessica!!
I just bought the pillow Jess lol I hope it works for me! I've been dealing with the worst neck pain all of a sudden
Oxiclean whiteout is amazing for white clothes. I use it instead of bleach
Flush the stain from the back side of the cloth for like 15 minutes then rub dish soap or laundry detergent into stain. Soak in cold water rubbing the stain every 5 to 10 minutes for 30 minutes. If the stain isnt gone repeat for 15 more minutes.
Hi Jesdica, I swear by the Tide to go stick and Persil laundry detergent directly on the stains and washing in cold water. That has taken stains out.
Try Zote bar of soap for stains!
Also, your eyes are stunning 🤩 today.
Dawn power wash has worked on every stain I’ve had since I got it. The foamy spray. Spray, let it soak, throw in the washer.
Thank you for the pillow recommendation. My neck and shoulders have been bothering me so much for the past couple of months. I hope this helps!! 🤞
I use the Ulta Beauty tinted face spf and it’s almost an exact dupe to the Elta MD that I’ve been purchasing for years!
Thanks for the recommendation 😀 I'll definitely give it a go.
I'm going to check this out is it good for light skin tones
The one I found is Tinted mineral face lotion SPF 30 is that right?
@@measbeauty Yes I’m light/fair! I use it under makeup or on its own. It doesn’t leave a cast. Give it a try!
Dawn dish soap put a little on the stain and wash like normal works on all stains you can always leave it on over night too then wash
Shower hack! Rinse the bottle of the cute Olay packaging and put the Avenue in the cute bottle! 💙
That what my chiropractor for years recommended to me the pillow that you have mentioned
Shout stain remover, comes in a blue bottle w a little scrubber on top. It’s s really helped me out even w older stains that have set in to clothes for a while, this stuff gets it out in 1 wash.
There is stain remover called Miss Mouth on Amazon that is supposed to be amazing!
I have the same sandals! Love them and already rebought them
Essence cosmetics came out with a new bronzer and highlighter and a few other stuff, it’s the Glowin Golds Vitamin line. I think the bronzer is a dupe for the Kosas bronzer!
