I come here a lot. This performance is just so out of this world that I fell in love with this violinist instantly... Definetely listen to other Kagan's recordings like Beethoven concerto. Also I suggest you read about life of this man since his dedication to music even on verge of death is truly admirable. This is a spendid sonata. Here the great Mr Richter, obviously under prepared, still making a great job of the piano part. On the other hand, Kagan is at home in this music. His performance really succeeds.
