Regarding ranting about your ex, we all instinctively know it drives other people away, so if we're not ready for another relationship but can't consciously admit it, we can use this behavior as a self-defense mechanism to keep people at a safe distance. A mature person will bring that up to conscious awareness and own it as a stage they're going through on their healing journey, whereas an immature person will sublimate it under the guise of presenting themselves as an innocent victim.
Your channel just happened to come across my screen. I must say I was impressed with the manner in which you presented this video. Polite, clear, a little humorous, and in a composed way. One thing that stood out was where you mentioned that we shouldn't be dependent upon someone else to make us happy, but be happy and complete in ourselves and let our partner complement us. I was married 3 months shy of 30 years, until my husband passed 6 years ago. Be playful...I agree, sometimes it feels good not to act our age:), and even though we are up in years, go a head and act like a kid or a teenager again!! Life is serious, I know, but a smile, and laughter goes a long way. A merry heart doeth good like medicine. And grumpy people usually aren't healthy either, and no one enjoys their company. Be a ray of sunshine. Be positive. There are times that one can be negative because of certain circumstances, but that shouldn't be the tenor of our character. The key is to look for validation and acceptance in your relationship with Jesus Christ first. You won’t find that in any relationship, especially if you’re not secure in the knowledge of your value, worth and that you are enough.
I always feel like it is not my job to give the guy my positive energy because it really seems like they are. just taking it ... it's everyone's own responsibility to be happy and share it, woman or man.
The way I look at it is my positive energy is for me and gives me joy....if anyone tries to take advantage of that I chose not to be in their space. I hope that makes sense!
I recently met someone that I like a lot, I realized he has such a passion for what he does, it made me think Im so not on his level because I do not have any passions, this has made me a little sad and self conscious, but now I see I must find a passion to level myself up..

Alex you are uniquely special man. This is my first time hearing, listening and seeing you present your material. Excellent points and therefore suggestions for ALL of us, regardless of gender or where we are at in a relationship. These are pearls of wisdom a person can use whether seeking a relationship, entering into a new one, in the over comfortable mid phases, sliding down the hill and wondering if it is possible to get back to where the times were good , OR realizing that no matter how much effort you exert to turn the ship around it takes a 2 person crew to make that happen and one needs to know that it’s time to agree to disagree and walk away peacefully. I have always been confident in who I am as a person. I have not always been comfortable in all situations because I was shy. Want to share something personal. 23 years back , I was a young person in late thirties. Mother of four children and twice divorced. Starting my life from a scratch. There a man walked in my life. A most sort after bachelor in town . After one month he proposed me. After marriage I asked him why did you decide to Mary me when there were so many women after him. And he mentioned all the above points that were the deciding factors.
I always ask God to good health and a sound mind. He gave me both as well as other good qualities.. I'll never be rich probably , that was an oxymoron, nothing better than loving the work you do even if it's a little modest in other people's eyes

I do agree with all that has been said however in today society it not like that anymore. If very hard to find a man who appreciate all that qualities, sad to say they are all taken and what is left are the men who doesn't appreciate those qualities because of their insecurities. The cold hard truth are the men of today are not looking for woman with those qualities, they are looking for the superficial woman who don't have a clue.

Alex you are uniquely special man. This is my first time hearing, listening and seeing you present your material. Excellent points and therefore suggestions for ALL of us, regardless of gender or where we are at in a relationship. These are pearls of wisdom a person can use whether seeking a relationship, entering into a new one, in the over comfortable mid phases, sliding down the hill and wondering if it is possible to get back to where the times were good , OR realizing that no matter how much effort you exert to turn the ship around it takes a 2 person crew to make that happen and one needs to know that it’s time to agree to disagree and walk away peacefully. The only time I like to reflect on what I did wrong in any given situation is to remember the lesson that I learned. I try to focus on that as a take away. I want to a Thank You for your spirit, and positive delivery you’ve re-encouraged me that there are still men such as yourself with your heart and philosophy to want a fulfilling reciprocal relationship. 23 years back , I was a young person in late thirties. Mother of four children and twice divorced.
Starting my life from a scratch.
There a man walked in my life. A most sort after bachelor in town .
After one month he proposed me.

I do agree with all that has been said however in today society it not like that anymore. If very hard to find a man who appreciate all that qualities, sad to say they are all taken and what is left are the men who doesn't appreciate those qualities because of their insecurities.
