The company that made that knife is Maxpedition. They imitated the MadDog design without MadDog's permission. It is a fraud, an illegal copy, a forgery. Real MadDog knives are never, ever made with A8 steel.

You have no copyright on design: you can have a copyright on process but not on design for knifes as not forbidden to copy'a knife design. What is forbidden is to copy the brand. Then you right as it is not nice to copy indeed and as mad dog does not use A8 steel. Cheers
@@fkr6051 You are likely correct. The owner of Maxpedition is Chinese and he and MadDog used to be friends, until he started copying the design without permission. Not a nice thing to do to a friend. I'm not so sure about copying the design, but that is not the real issue. The issue is passing off the knives with the trademarked name of MadDog. Thank you for your reply.
