Sorry, I should have said first how very helpful you are. And I very much appreciate the pace at which you go. I think you would be wonderful with a podcast. But you definitely should be teaching. It's a big strength for you. Thank you so much to all of us. I need your help.

Thank you for your kindness and letting me know that my efforts are helpful to you. I wish you all the luck on your exam! I've debated the idea about starting a podcast...maybe someday...

I think you do a wonderful job of explaining all these concepts. I myself struggle with the math. Every time I look at it and do the examples I figure it out but the minute I stop and then go back to it. I find it hard. Sometimes I don't understand how they get from one step to the next. I hope you can be of some help with this.

I know I replied to your last comment, but thank you again for the compliment. You are not alone, I struggled with math growing up. Which is why I break the math down step-by-step, in a way that I hope is clear to others. Whenever I get confused in math (or anything) I like to go back to the basics. Math can be confusing because it builds on itself. In other words, if you're not sure how or why something is the case, look up that specific situation. For instance if you forgot what PEMDAS means, that would be a great place to start. Or understanding how unit conversions work is extremely helpful. Either way, I hope I can help. I'm open to suggestions.

BOD max sample time is 48 hours after collection not 24 hrs.

Yes, you are correct, nice catch! I discovered this mistake a while ago and have since corrected it within the video by adding a subtitle in that section. I truly put a lot of time and effort to make sure I share correct information in my videos. However, I made a mistake here for which I am very sorry for. Thanks for the comment and good luck!

i thought the hold time for BOD is 48 hours?

Good catch! Looking back at this, I did not do a great job clarifying Question 59. For composite samples and grab samples the maximum holding time is 48 hours (not 24 hours) if kept refridgerated. It is recommended to analyze a BOD grab sample within 6 hours if kept refrigerated (2 hours if no refrigeration for grab samples). I would also mention that it only needs to be refrigerated to less than 6 Celsius by current standard methods (use to be less than 4 Celsius for refrigeration temp). Not sure how this happened, but I'm thankful for your comment. I knew the day would come I made an error, my apologies. I will make a note of it on this video. I promise I review and research the content of my videos extensively but I am only human and not immune to mistakes. Thank you for your comment and watching!
