    Tom, you have given me the courage to start investing. I’ve been adding small amounts for the last couple of months using trading 212. Its making a good return. I don’t think I’m going to be a millionaire! Thanks again.

    As you said “they probably should have spent a bit more before they snuffed it”. I found the stories a bit sad 😢

    Yes Tom, yes (oh and trading 212). Now this is priceless video content. You DO NOT need to invest huge amounts, you just need to invest. Research and choose your investments wisely and time in the market should (not guaranteed) produce good results. Can not say enough how much this video made me smile.

    I'm having fun in my 20s, can always make more money later on. I've had enough of buying the cheapest, or sometimes missing things cos i think, well i can buy this ice cream, or invest this £1.50 instead. I'm now buying the ice cream. You never hear people talk about balance when investing and i think its important. Maybe there's not many idiots like me who invest everything they've got and then regret making any purchases other than what is completely necessary. The message is always invest as much as possible, even small amounts, and thats not fun. Like is it really worth not going on holiday one year to put it in the stock market?

    I need to look into this. The last time I asked my bank it was 12 pounds flat fee for investing in shares. that would consume too much of my monthly savings.

    Many investors/traders advice - that at the start of the bear market, you should sell and buy later on. My question - How do they know at the beginning of the correction - whether stocks would fall by 5%, 10%, 20%, 30% or more?

    when you are young, investing small amounts is not just for the sake of profits, but also for you to build the habit and discipline of investing.

    Great video and I’m a fan of your channel (as well as Damien’s)!
    It would be good to know more about 212 including the indicators that are provided. This is my single biggest hang-up with the big name platforms, lack of decent investing tools and analysis options.

    None of the people mentioned got to actually spend anywhere near what they were worth 🤷🏽‍♂️obviously not spending anything and letting it compound you will have lots of money over a long period of time. The problem with that is, who knows how much time they have? No one, so investing and not touching anything until you're a old man is absolutely stupid. When it comes to investing its go big or go home, because nothing is guaranteed and to invest in the uncertainty of time is ridiculous 🙄

    The stock market is still a fantastic tool for building wealth, however, so it's wise to consider investing even if you don't have much money to spare

    i think it makes more sense to invest 400 in your 30s for 30 years because 200K are not worth enough to compensate for sacrifing the 20s and all the things you can enjoy during these 10 years

      Hey there 👋 As a European broker, we can't offer access to US ETFs, such as UVXY, that are not PRIIPS or UCITS certified. Still, feel free to suggest any other ETFs that are compliant with the mentioned requirements - we're looking to expand our portfolio at all times.

    Maybe learning about trading is better for older people than starting to invest? Investing seems to only be of big benefit if you are younger (say under 50) as you need many decades for your money to grow to a large amount.

    • @jacc88888
      @jacc88888 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was thinking the same. I’ve started investing a bit in my 50s but don’t expect to to benefit too much from it financially as it takes so many decades to make money grow. Guess investing is still better than saving in a bank account though.
