FYI, Kamen Rider Kabuto is supposed to be the last Kamen Rider that will be produced by Toei before entering infinite hiatus due to low audience and sales from the previous Kamen Rider series. For this reason, they put more budget and design to make Kamen Rider Kabuto the closing franchise to be memorable. It turns out, Kamen Rider Kabuto is performing better than expected and many people are showing their care with this series. So, they are continuing with Den-O (the one with Kenshiin's actor) and it was a huge success. They milking Den-O as dry as possible while continuing to produce the next series 🤣

Speaking of which , The Orphnochs themselves weren't that great either outside of design and brutality. Murakami/Rose orphnoch and Sawada/Spider orphnoch were pretty unlikable and uninteresting, with the Orphnoch King being one of the worst final villains in the franchise , The Orphnoch King was never mentioned until the season finale , The characters are completely unlikable and Toshiki Inoue's writing is awful , Kusaka is an unlikeable jerk, due to his hate towards Takumi, as well only caring about himself, and could also be considered as the worst secondary rider to exist in the franchise's history , Mihara is the show's most forgettable character, and had no development within the series' progression, his only purpose was just so the Delta Gear could have it's prominent owner , The finale for the show feels rather rushed and boring especially the final battle between Faiz and the Orphnoch King , The acting is a little bland and most character developments were immediately undone , They were too much conflict and not enough humor , If anyone counted the Deformed flower Novel , it will probably be the worst thing. But since almost to maybe all the novels might be thought of as terrible , Inoue's just the worst writer who took over Hibiki. FUCK INOUE.

Fun fact: Kamen Rider Black's opening is sung by the lead actor Tetsuo Kurata. It's the only time the show's lead sang the opening theme. But a lot of other series have the actors sing insert songs in their shows.
actually, that's not totally true, the Original Series' intro (at least for the first 12 episodes) was sung by Hiroshi Fujioka himself, they changed to the version sang by Masato Shimon when he left the series after his accicent. V3 and Super-1 intros were also sung by their respective leads if i'm not mistaken

Kamen Rider Gaim (Samurai Fruit theme) was one on the darkest plot in the whole franchise. And also based on Adam & Eve lore. And those 2 seasons of AMAZONS was special season target for adult and gore.

Great video. Always love seeing someone be introduced to this show. To answer your question about Den-O, that was a special opening where the hero Imajin performed the opening theme. I think it was done for a live show , willing to stand corrected. Also: Kiva's theme slaps. Wizard's catchphrase is "It's showtime" so that explains his theatrics. OOO's (pronounced 'ohs') is my favorite series. W (Double) is my favorite transformation. It's also the first season I watched. As for a good starting point, in 2024 I recommend starting with Zero-1 and coming forward. Then go back and watch the rest. Personally after I watched W I went back to Kuuga (start of Heisei era) and came forward. Personal stand outs were Kabuto, Den-o, Kiva, W, Wizard, Ghost and shockingly Geats. I kinda liked how much of a cocky bastard Ace was.

It was like the writer was trying to challenge themselves by writing the plot into a corner and then outdo themselves in the next arc.
The first Kamen Rider to ZX musics(including their respected BGMs) was arranged by the man named Shunsuke Kikuchi, one of the prolific music composers of 1970s Japan. He did make some memorable BGM in the old Dragon Ball anime till, and his signature plethoras of bassful of drums, raging violins, xylophones and trumpets depending of the mood of the scenes. There's a joke in the Japan music circle that if Kikuchi would be their BGM maker, that show will LIT; and it did. Shunsuke Kikuchi died last year of April due to pneumonia.

Dunno if it's been answered, but you were asking about how they come up with the poses? Well, the actors playing their specific Riders actually make them up! It's one of the benefits of getting the part: The transformation poses and such are all yours to make. I'd like to think they do it so the actor can get into character better.
Ichigo to J (Showa Era) were the cyborgs. Once Kugga (first Heisei Era Rider) came along they pretty much dropped the cyborg thing. The closest you get to Cyborgs again is with Zero-One, but that was just more along the lines of A.I.

Kamen Rider Black Rx is actually the sequel to Kamen Rider Black. That's why the way the show announced its title (with the font and everything) looked kinda familiar to you. If you watch the Henshin sequences for both shows, you'll notice it's the same guy.l Edit: If you want to see if your wife into this, try have her reacting to their Henshins and Finishers. Because usually the Opening sequences don't really provide much on Kamen Rider's charm as much as their Henshins and Finishers do (especially the Henshins).
Decade and Zi-o are anniversary series so are just massive crossovers to all the series before them Decade even crossed over into that year's Ranger series ( which became Power Rangers Samurai) and had a move with Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (the pirate themed Super Megaforce)

Speaking of Beetleborgs. Juukou B-Fighter, the Japanese version of that had some good songs. That show was part of the metal hero series which also included Choujinki Metalder and Jikuu Senshi Spielban. Footage from those shows were used to make VR Troopers.
As far as who wears the suits, the very first Kamen Rider was also a stuntman who did his own stunts and wore the suit.....and promptly broke his leg doing that 13 episodes in, requiring some impressive rewrites to salvage the show while he recovered. After that no lead Rider ever wore the suit in fight scenes ever again, and instead it's passed off to a major stunt company in Japan that specifically trains stuntmen to be "suit actors" to both have cool fight scenes and also patomime along to ADR dialogue since the actual actors aren't on the sets when filming those scenes. It's a very intensive several year course and afterwards they start out playing generic enemy soldiers or monsters and have to work their up to playing the heroes. They also usually stick with the franchise long term, so the suit actor for the main Rider usually is that in every show for at least several years in a row. There are occasional scenes where the actual main actors wear the suits, but only in scenes where they just stand there (usually in the finales which have alot of dramatic monologues while in suit)

Crossover happens only in movies or in anniversary series like Decade or Zi-O. However as much as I like the main character in Decade, I really don't recommend watching that series since it has a plothole with a size of Mariana Trench. Meanwhile, while its storyplot is better than Decade, Zi-O (who fans sometimes jokingly refers to as Decade season 2 because of Decade making a comeback and permanent role in the series), will need to have some at least basic knowledge from previous Kamen Riders to fully enjoy the show because it was created with the assumption that you were already aware of what are the old Kamen Riders, what they do, and what happened. Some movies also need some prior knowledge but in my experience whenever there is a big movie crossover between the Riders, the seven legendary Kamen Riders [Ichigo, Nigo, Riderman, V3, X, Amazon and Stronger] and Kamen Rider Decade commonly appears. I once read a comment in one of Kamen Rider reactions, whenever a crossover series was happening it always goes like this: "Power Rangers/Super Sentai: lets fight together to defeat evil enemy. Meanwhile, Kamen Riders: Lets kick the heck out each other then kick the enemy later" If there's one thing to describe the difference between the two, I will jokingly offer the description above. If you going to watch Kamen Riders, I would like to recommended to watch Build, Gaim and Ooo's. Those three have solid storyplot and contents that may suited for mature audience.
Zi-0 has a lot of spoilers and plot holes. It got some good concepts at first but then they threw all of those concepts out of the window mid season. About Decade, you can watch it whenever you want since it happens in other worlds that have nothing to do with the mainstream universe.

FYI, Kamen Rider Kabuto is supposed to be the last Kamen Rider that will be produced by Toei before entering infinite hiatus due to low audience and sales from the previous Kamen Rider series.
For this reason, they put more budget and design to make Kamen Rider Kabuto the closing franchise to be memorable.
It turns out, Kamen Rider Kabuto is performing better than expected and many people are showing their care with this series.

Speaking of which , The Orphnochs themselves weren't that great either outside of design and brutality. As for a good starting point, in 2024 I recommend starting with Zero-1 and coming forward. Then go back and watch the rest. Personally after I watched W I went back to Kuuga (start of Heisei era) and came forward. Personal stand outs were Kabuto, Den-o, Kiva, W, Wizard, Ghost and shockingly Geats. I kinda liked how much of a cocky bastard Ace was.

They have several arcs of the story and at the end of each arc it felt like the actual finale of the whole show. It was like the writer was trying to challenge themselves by writing the plot into a corner and then outdo themselves in the next arc.
The first Kamen Rider to ZX musics(including their respected BGMs) was arranged by the man named Shunsuke Kikuchi, one of the prolific music composers of 1970s Japan. He did make some memorable BGM in the old Dragon Ball anime till, and his signature plethoras of bassful of drums, raging violins, xylophones and trumpets depending of the mood of the scenes.
There's a joke in the Japan music circle that if Kikuchi would be their BGM maker, that show will LIT; and it did. Shunsuke Kikuchi died last year of April due to pneumonia.
Unpopular opinion: No one should ever watch the Decade vs Zi-o specials、Those are probably the worst written pieces of Kamen Rider media since Toshiki inoue ruined Hibiki、Fuck Inoue、That man is a whole hack. Kamen Rider Black Rx is actually the sequel to Kamen Rider Black. That's why the way the show announced its title (with the font and everything) looked kinda familiar to you.

Edit: If you want to see if your wife into this, try have her reacting to their Henshins and Finishers. Because usually the Opening sequences don't really provide much on Kamen Rider's charm as much as their Henshins and Finishers do (especially the Henshins).

Decade and Zi-o are anniversary series so are just massive crossovers to all the series before them Decade even crossed over into that year's Ranger series ( which became Power Rangers Samurai) and had a move with Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (the pirate themed Super Megaforce)

Speaking of Beetleborgs. Juukou B-Fighter, the Japanese version of that had some good songs. That show was part of the metal hero series which also included Choujinki Metalder and Jikuu Senshi Spielban. Footage from those shows were used to make VR Troopers.

As far as who wears the suits, the very first Kamen Rider was also a stuntman who did his own stunts and wore the suit.....and promptly broke his leg doing that 13 episodes in, requiring some impressive rewrites to salvage the show while he recovered. After that no lead Rider ever wore the suit in fight scenes ever again, and instead it's passed off to a major stunt company in Japan that specifically trains stuntmen to be "suit actors" to both have cool fight scenes and also patomime along to ADR dialogue since the actual actors aren't on the sets when filming those scenes. It's a very intensive several year course and afterwards they start out playing generic enemy soldiers or monsters and have to work their up to playing the heroes. They also usually stick with the franchise long term, so the suit actor for the main Rider usually is that in every show for at least several years in a row. There are occasional scenes where the actual main actors wear the suits, but only in scenes where they just stand there (usually in the finales which have alot of dramatic monologues while in suit)

Crossover happens only in movies or in anniversary series like Decade or Zi-O. However as much as I like the main character in Decade, I really don't recommend watching that series since it has a plothole with a size of Mariana Trench. Meanwhile, while its storyplot is better than Decade, Zi-O (who fans sometimes jokingly refers to as Decade season 2 because of Decade making a comeback and permanent role in the series), will need to have some at least basic knowledge from previous Kamen Riders to fully enjoy the show because it was created with the assumption that you were already aware of what are the old Kamen Riders, what they do, and what happened. Some movies also need some prior knowledge but in my experience whenever there is a big movie crossover between the Riders, the seven legendary Kamen Riders [Ichigo, Nigo, Riderman, V3, X, Amazon and Stronger] and Kamen Rider Decade commonly appears.
I once read a comment in one of Kamen Rider reactions, whenever a crossover series was happening it always goes like this:
"Power Rangers/Super Sentai: lets fight together to defeat evil enemy. Meanwhile,
Kamen Riders: Lets kick the heck out each other then kick the enemy later"
If there's one thing to describe the difference between the two, I will jokingly offer the description above.
If you going to watch Kamen Riders, I would like to recommended to watch Build, Gaim and Ooo's. Those three have solid storyplot and contents that may suited for mature audience.
