Such a cool episode. Seeing that PJ Tucker only shot 1 shot in that finals game, missed it, Giannis had a 50 ball and PJ STILL had the highest plus minus on the team is just insanity. Underrated for sure
PJ talking about his time in Ukraine is amazing. The NBA Podcast wave is the best thing to happen in sports entertainment. Keep up the awesome content, we love it!
Loved this conversation you guys had. The insight PJ gives on being the 15th guy on the team and going overseas was great. I'm a huge sixers fan. I love the work you guys do!
FEEDBACK: I really enjoyed the candid conversation and how you touched on PJs background, especially him playing overseas and the impact he has on fashion. The one piece of feedback I have was to let PJ answer the question you ask him or let him respond to a comment. There was a lot of times in this interview where Evan would interrupt PJ when it looked like he was going to say something. I love Evan but would really appreciate it if we could hear the guest opinions since people like PJ don't really go on podcasts.
Of all the basketball pods, this was my favorite one by far. I find myself easily listening to these Point Forward podcasts. Yall make it feel like I'm apart of the conversation myself, like I am there with yall laughing. Love the content man. Can yall get D Book? Lmao.
I really liked how PJ Tucker explained in details the differences playing for a European team vs NBA team and also the positive impact his overseas experience had on his mindset and style on and off the court. Love this podcast. A big fan from France 🇲🇫🇲🇫 👏👏👏 keep up the good work guys!! It's fire 🔥🔥
PJ Tucker is a super cool dude. Good points on many International players, loved the Bogdan Bogdanovic shoutout. Glad they mentioned legends like Drazen. Glad to hear Evan FINALLY started to see the light with Joker. It was tough taking him seriously before.
Best episode yet.. This makes you really think about how valuable a player like PJ/Andre/ET really is. Guys that put team first and want to win no matter what should be paid a hellava lot more
ET is hilarious 😂😂😂😂. Great podcast guys. Very insightful. Helps me have more empathy for professional athletes. It's a job, and there's a role to play. Simple.
Dudes who are not close being on the same team for 5 years is 100% on the culture of the club. The club should facilitate activities where the players can bond. Take them back to their childhood and let them play many games, make it competitive but fun. The problem is, some clubs just know they're not going anywhere so they don't care. For example, why doesn't Seattle have an NBA team but Charlotte does?
This was straight up facts and fire all day. Unpopular take, but most people are going to be a lot closer to the 12-15th man than the superstar in their respective line of work. There's more relevant wisdom to be learned from the life and struggles of a PJ Tucker than a Curry or Lebron.
Hey fellas, my name is ilmi, I’m from Melbourne Australia. Just want to give you both your flowers. You guys are absolute inspirations. I love your content and I’m a huge basketball fan. Y’all need to come visit Australia. Keep up great work. Much love. P.S I’m a huge Boston Celtics fan.
Sorry guys but “give them their flowers” is a very old adage. My grandmother said it often in the vein of awarding people while they’re “living” rather than waiting to “send flowers” for their funeral. 😉
@@pointforward The flowers sentiment has gained popularity and it’s a beautiful thing. You guys keep up the great work. Wanna Thank PJ for his heart n soul for his short stay in Philly. U don’t need to score to make an impact n that’s for sure when it comes to PJ. Hustle to the max.
Love hearing these stories from Pj Tucker and Pat Bev about their story. They offer so much perspective for any job field. Anything is achievable with hard work and perseverance. Side note.
Infinite respect to PJ man so many sixers fans bash on him for not putting up 15 a night but the real recognize how important he can be for this team when he’s on it
One of my favorite players!! I always admire the do it all/do the little things type of players that arent concerned with stats. It takes a different type of mentality and maturity to embrace that role imo
Point Forward is definitely one of the best podcasts out! This was another insightful, funny, and awesome conversation 💯! It’s dope how Tucker talked about being his authentic self and attracting what is meant for him. We can all learn from that; everyone’s journey is unique!
Thank you. I have always liked watching PJ Tucker play. Love getting the different perspective directly from the player. I enjoy the stories too hahaha
Such a GREAT episode! PJ Tucker is such a great player!!! I was so upset when my favorite team the Milwaukee Bucks let him get away in free agency WHY???? He's a great player!!! Evan Turner & Andre are great hosts of this podcast!! Classy guys!!!!
