Compulse over punishment, then you can play extrav for the +1 and you don't care about the link-1, you also don't autolose game 2/3 to backrow removal since you can bounce your own monster 2 Manis and 1 protocol, I play Topologic Bomber Dragon over Avramax so you can trigger it at least once, also mani gets you the protocol in the grave when you don't have silq available And I think its better to main 12 handtraps and less actual traps just because you need to stop combo decks going 2nd, if you're going 1st and you see no Geist cards at least your opp is also not playing the game Good job Yacine✌ EDIT: Ben Salach's arguments are plausible, I also side Kaijus and evenly for going 2nd, alongside 1 feather duster, 2 lightning storms and 1 pank. Going 1st you can side 3 judgments and 3 borders in for handtraps
Well, I played Altergeists a lot and I think I still learnt something today. (Maybe, I should watch more yugitubers instead of repeating my same old combos.) Skill Drain is a nice idea. But then you REALLY rely on Protocol, because the Altergeists have very likely less attack than the opponent's monsters. So in that situation (Drain + Protocol), Protocol protects all your Altergeist effects except for permanent effects. That means, no attack boost of Hexia and easily steam rolling your opponent any more, I guess. The other Altergeist effects are still fine then, right?
I wonder how well Endymion Geist would do. They're both able to use the Hand package for extenders and interruption, and that new Charmer field spell negates the first monster effect. Both decks use a Spellcaster with exactly 1500 DEF. Not saying it's viable, but it would be an unexpected gimmick.
or you could full combo with faker and any trap card by doing the following... opponents end phase, you trigger faker to summon, then you use its second effect to summon Mel. During ur turn link it off into hex, trigger Mel in grave to add Mario to hand. Summon Mario, use its effect to set protocol. Use Mario second effect to summon back faker targeting itself. Trigger faker second eff to summon another altergeist monster from deck. Use other altergeist monster & hex to go into a prime. Use hex eff in grave to search manifest. Use faker and prime to make another hex. Use prime eff in grave to add faker back to hand. Set the manifest. Opponents stand by, use mani to summon back hex under the other hex, trigger faker in hand to summon itself, then on field to summon silq. Ends on double spell negate, a bounce and a monster negate with follow up for next turn when hex is sent from field to grave!
Actually there is something that work with that trap tht revive from graveyard you can activate it then chain the atlergeist that return or send or to decks and it still resolved in revived the monster but now it won’t get send to graveyard since the trap is not equip to taht revivie monster and yes you can actually do it in yugioh it not an legal play or what people call it cheated it not it actually an legit play that is not legal to do hope that will help you learn more about them and watch the ruling of alterigest if you guy don’t know the ruling of them anyway love you videos bro they been fantastic lately and I love that
