- Paul didn’t choose easy places to minister and he made his way to Athens, a centre of commerce and philosophy. Here Paul met with the locals and on Mars Hill, just across from the Acropolis he would have spoken to some of the brightest minds in his day. It wasn’t easy but Paul use of tact, skill and patience gives us an example to use today in our witness and ministry.

The World is in a serious crisis. Many don't realize the seriousness of the times and how connected it is to our history. I pray that we will all learn our history, see the things that the disciples and the reformers faced during their time, understanding that there is nothing new under the sun. 1:05 finally someone describes the encounter correctly. It would have been almost impossble NOT to have been impacted by Paul when he was speaking in Athen. Even after more than 2000 years, we still get impacted by his thirteen epistles and Acts. Thank you!

The modern equivalent of the Athenians to me are those who believe evolution proves the Bible is a fairy tale and yet are so fascinated with science fiction they can't see that it is their substitute spirituality. I have a tremendous burden for that exact audience. Please pray for my success reaching them.

Ellen White. Desire of Ages. All days are Gods; in which to carry out His plans for the human race.
Him; My answer to this has been consistent throughout. All days were created by God, making them His. But there is only one day that was sanctified and set aside for weekly worship, which is the seventh day. Mrs. White does not differ with that view.
Me; Sabbath wasn't sanctified. Sorry to point that out.

Does sanctified; look like strictly a Genesis word?
If so; Sabbath isn't sanctified.
Him; Genesis 2:3. You must read a different Bible than I do. His plan for the human race has always been to bring them home to the relationship with Him that He always intended, until Adam and Eve chose differently.

Back in the days of Jacob Gibbs; even he admitted, Christians kept Sunday; since before the 1st pope.

That connects with Ex 31:13; Deut 5:15, ... Saying Sabbath is for Ppl of Israel. And not EVERYBODY.
