I was distraught when Shantae got Mii'd and Steve got in the roster... now I can play Smash Ultimate again with this mod! Thank you for making my dream come true!
To me, getting Mii'd is the first step to getting in Smash. Remember, the Inkling started with a Mii costume, then Ultimate is announced, and what is one the character trailers... Inkling, so I feel Shante might have a chance of getting into the next Smash game, but only time will truly tell if it happens. Shante dances into Smash!!!

For example Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia was highly requested by Japanese fans, but he became a mii costume TWICE. I compare Shantae to Banjo kazooie, because their western platformers with transformations. While Shantae Pirate's Curse doesn't have transformations, her pistol reminds me of Banjo's Breegul Blaster, and her Pirate hat that lets her float reminds me of Kazooie's feathery flap.

This just made my day. It did suck Shantae got Mii'd (Atleast she got a semi-deluxe treatment at the very least.) But this is pure heart warming! It'll only kinda bite that I use Zelda and there's no way to just "switch" between them as far as I know. But Appreciate you doing this mod!!!
I feel so bad that the actual Shantae was reduced to being nothing more that a DLC costume for the Miis in Smash Bros Ultimate. I seriously wanted her to be one of the playable characters in that game. If not as an unlockable, then as a DLC.

But I would like you to work with the people from Smash Remix so that Shantae in the Smash Bros Remix would be amazing.
Sakurai can't even do this. He doesn't have what it takes to make Shantae a REAL fighter! I bet Sakurai can't prove me wrong (bad attempt at reverse psychology)
@@chaudspieler Matt Bozon confirmed that Legend of Zelda Castlevania and Mega man were a big inspirations for Shantae. So it makes it hard for Sakurai to come up with a moveset that stands out from the others.
This mod is very impressive, especially the custom animations. I did wish a little more was done with her so that it's not quite as obvious she's using Zelda as a base, but the work is amazing regardless

It should be a simple drag and drop. You may be running into file conflicts; check your conflicts.json file. I recommend the single slot versions on the google drive if you can't resolve them.

We need another mod with this new WiFi Free Animations. Maybe something like Henry Stickmin over Shulk or Maybe Mario Animations having a SMG4 feel to it. The Possibilities are now ENDLESS!! =D

There are several versions, many of which leave Zelda untouched.
