next time use ECO mode AC

That makes no sense. The ac usually runs at 500W on a hot day, maybe 1kW, when it's 120F inside. And as low as 250W when 80f or below outside. An L2 charger can charge at 3.3kw, so 2/3rd to 5/6th can go to the battery. I think that it doesn't use the charging very effectively

Wow that sucks so ppl have to burn up in the heat while charging their trucks

@@ourtruth216 Full Electric vehicles charge at a much faster rate, therefore allowing the A/C or Heat to be left on without sacrificing really any charging speed

It's true that the HVAC draws about the maximum charger power (3.6kW at *240V*), so you don't get any net charging.
However, once the car is fully charged, using remote start about 10 minutes before unplugging results in the HVAC being powered from charger power rather than the battery. This preconditions the cabin (and battery) without touching the battery charge.
When charging from 120V, HVAC draws more power than can be drawn from the charger - the battery makes up the difference, but the difference can be restored if the car is allowed to charge for about 10 minutes after the remote start ends.
