Awesome stuff! I reenact LwFD so it's nice to see when people paint them up, they're an interesting unit and didn't perform very well but the look of the Luftwaffe uniforms definitely makes them cool
Thank you so much mate! That's awesome that you reenact them ... is the scene big in your area? You're not wrong either, certainly beats painting Field Grey 😆
Not too big, plenty of reenactors generally though, in Yorkshire, however I am in no group and just have the stuff out of interest, some good books on the topic though, best one I have found is "Gorings Grenadiers" by Antonio Munoz although it was a bit pricey, but definitely beats the Field Grey, as impractical as blue is on a battlefield the camouflage bits they often wore do also look very cool@@paintingpanzers
@@paintingpanzers You did great as always. Never say never when it comes to the third reich. Black works just as well. I’m sure they changed from year to year and unit to unit too.
I don't think there is anything difference in all honesty. The equipment and uniform were much of the same from what I've found. I think the Heer AB models will work great 👍
Not surprising your work is NOT what the nickname of the "Luftwaffe-Feld-Division" (Air Force field Division) said: It was "Luftwaffe-Fehl-Konstruktion" (Air Force Constrictional Defect). In german that rhymes. Well done.
If you enjoyed this video, be sure to give it a big thumbs up 👍 😊
Given that late war Confederates from the ACW often wore a blue grey uniform very similar to this, this is a nice tutorial for that too!
Oh wow, I didn't think of that but it'll definitely make for a great future video as most of the work has already been done 👌
Nicely done Kristian!🤔👍🍻
Thanks a lot mate 🙌🙌
exactly what i was looking for, thank you much!
Amazing. Thank you 😊

Wow great job as always mate
Thanks as always buddy 🙌
I panted the Afrika Korps & fallschirmjäger kits in the Luftwaffe scheme to have a more unque looking army.
That's an awesome idea. I'd love to see what they look like 👍
I have some brown k98 pouches that were issued to Luftwaffe truppen.
Ah yeah, I was tempted to go brown but I wanted to make the reference picture in the thumbnail and they were black 🤭

Is there much difference in the uniforms of the Luftwaffe and the Wehrmacht? I’m just wondering as I could use AB figures for Luftwaffe forces if not.

Great stuff, I paint the bread bag blue also
Thanks as always buddy 😁 it was definitely tempting but I thought it might get lost within the uniform if I painted it the same colour 🤔
@@paintingpanzers extra cream in the highlight to give it the washed out look
What brand of brushes are you using mate ?
I use Rosemary & Co Series 33 Sable size 2/0 primarily but also use a 3/0 for super fine work and 0 for bigger items 😁

Haha oh right?! Thanks man 🙌🙌
