One pro tip I have for synth bass is get the free Tal juno chorus vst and slap that on the synth bass. Put 2 saws an octave apart and dial the filter down with high sustain and you are there ( I personally like repro 1 or sometimes I do this with my hardware prophet 5). Sometimes the Minimoog sound is just too much... this is a good alternative.

there is a preset in refx nexus 2 that is in the xp dance vol 1 name pridz sidechain bass my nexus isn't working properly so i want an alternatuve with that same bass which plugin give me that same feeling
