i really just hate the fact that the AI are not responsive to each other. Scavs not fighting PMCs, bosses and PMCS not fighting. and the fact that bosses have a 100% spawn rate. Things like the Goons AI being able to beam you from halfway across the map isn't challenging whatsoever, it is just entirely unfun and has honestly turned me off from playing the mode at all. Not to mention the sheer amount of the AI you encounter as soon as shots are fired, you literally have to sprint everywhere and rush. They seriously need to ask the SPT folks for help.
Bosses don't have a 100% spawn. I've had plenty of raids where shturman didn't spawn when I was trying to get the mk18.

I’ve always said the goons are the worst boss
Yesterday I killed 49 scavs and 8 pms around Kiba, couldnt even open the damn kiba cause scavs would not stop spawning.
I never thought I'd come back to Tarkov but PVE is exactly what me and my old friends dreamed about, we always talked about this very gamemode as we get mowed down every raid by cheaters or giga chads. Never had so much fun playing.

They do the most heavy handed balancing changes and can never find a comfortable middle ground... the PvE loot nerf just makes 0 sense. Unless they are trying to force people back to PvP because cheaters are running rampant due to lack of non cheaters to run through so they are so much more obvious.. another patch.. another headache

They didn't make it worse on purpose.
I think it happened when they removed the ability to reduce the amount of AI, because before PVE always assumed you were playing on the full server, counting all the PMC AIs as players, and as you know, the more players on the map, the better the loot.
Now, along with removing the ability to reduce the number of bots, they've made it so that PVE play no longer assumes that every server is maxed out with players. What's more, the game assumes that you're a single player on the server and doesn't count the PMC AI as a player, which means there's much less loot.
As someone pointed out on reddit, the loot is now the exact same as an offline pvp practice raid. I genuinely think what was done was more a fuck up than entirely intentional.
the game is basicly taking the "offline" settings and use them as "online" so that means offline loot and if you find a way to change the offline settings and not having them change back before you launch the game it will use the modified "offline" settings as the online version.
Leave BSG to nerf literally everything to spite its players.
Nerf no AI? Nah, nerf the loot.
Nerf specific rooms? Nah, nerf the entire map.
Fix AI interactions? Nah
They literally drop the ball when it's literally handed to them.
AI doesn't need a nerf. The glitches make the PMC too easy too often.

You’re missing the point of why people are upset. It’s a pve mode that doesn’t affect anyone else so who gives a rats ass if they stack a billion in game rubles? People play pve because they are tired of loot vacuuming/aimbot. Oh no, too much fun detected. Better nerf the loot so people might go back to pvp. BSG will need to implement everything “the mod” can do or people will quit pve and go play that instead.

It took 30 labs raids to find the two only found in the labs raid... with this broken no ai.... dude I wouldn't be able to kill the raiders because I'm not a streamer pro like bf...

From my experience, I notice gunfights pop off between the AI PMC and Scavs, but 99.9% of the time the AI PMC's win. This is if they actually aggro, but then there are times that PMC's and Bosses will just not interact and aggro on me. I killed Tagilla with a nade because I thought there were just a stack of Bears. I tossed the nade as they were shooting at me and when I looted their bodies I saw it was Tagilla!
The stem price difference is the oddest one to me because there's not too much of a difference since black and green room were already free. I was doing lab runs into black and green then leaving without ever engaging a single AI long before this bug.
Yeah same and i also hit blue. Theres literally nothing in blue or green anymore and black has like 2/3s if not half the stims it used to have. Its a major nerf. Im not saying to go back to the old loot it was definitely cracked but this is just a major overcorrection in my opinion
Opened a marked room yesterday and it was straight up empty, felt like PVP. Terrible change.
In terms of game balance, I personally found it to be in a good place after they added the roaming AI. Sure you get lasered by PMCs sometimes but that's no different to dying to a rat in a bush on PVP. I didn't do the practice mode settings changing but I can understand the appeal, definitely would need to adjust loot based on difficulty though.
If you have 6.0 scav rating and intelligence lvl 3 you can pull 2 filters out at reserve on a scav and have under a 10 min cool down

Opened a marked room on reserve and there was a toz. That's it.
With the AI roaming to loot, locked rooms felt like the safety net. Now it just sucks overall
for the Mpower filters w/ almost 200 on flea rep 11m is the most optimal price
I found 5.95 million to be a better return based on the fee payed. At least to my pmc hideout level.
Except you're only getting like 200k more for selling at 11m vs 6m

I think what would be cool is a "server" based system where there is different economies depending on the settings. Simple example: 3 difficulties, easy, medium, and hard each with different settings and each having a different economy.
The whole reason people listed filters so high is because they're farming rep... When they sell they get a ton of flea market rep even if they lose a little money on it
I've been noticing rooms like Relax, Beluga and loot rooms like these have not just been nerfed, most times I'm only walking out with 2 cultist figurines max.

Also disabling the AI is dumb. I always set it to high/horde. I'd LITERALLY get 80-100+ kills each game. SO much xp, so much loot. I did it on factory the most. I would use an RPD and bring 5 extra drum mags. Head for the extract, kill em' by the extract, loot what you can before the next wave spawns and gtfo. Rinse and repeat. Sometimes if I needed some more difficult/harder to find scav loot... I would set it to scav war. They would kill themselves, so I had less aggro and more time/room to loot.
i just barely got a marked key from the scav case, now i cant even experience the buffed loot, really tired of these events ending before i can make use of them :/

Am i out of touch with tarkov or did they also change it to where after the gym first raid gives no strength or endurance XP?
Yeah it used to be a 50% nerf so on first use you would get +2 strength and second use it was +1. Im only getting +0.8 on second use. Not sure if first use is still +2 or not
@@ThySting Sorry If my wording was confusing, I mean about the first RAID after you finish using the gym. I go into raid and run around and my skills are 0% leveling and I get no XP on them at all until i do another raid after.
@@luckyajinn849 ohhhh that my bad. I misread it. Im not sure about that though. I super chat on Acez EFT channel asking if the gym debuff (severe/mild muscle pain) affects anything in raid and it isnt supposed to have any affect at all other than preventing you from farming the gym. That was a few weeks ago though. They couldve done that to raids as a “punishment” for the gym farming bug. Im not sure though
I got the 20 mil streets marked key, I found less than 100k worth of loot each time I opened the door…..

I found a gpu on a random scav yesterday. I think some of the loot problems may be scavs and ai pmcs looting stuff
I feel like they really only nerf’d the locked rooms. Scattered good loot is still abundant on labs. Understandable the nerfing as well given all the exploits that were being, basically, advertised on TH-cam. I agree BSG should have done this differently, or at least put it in the patch notes
I get the feeling that BSG will intentionally mess it up every now and then so that they dont have to release it to the rest of the editions
to be fair i made like 180m from labs during the no enemies exploit
Can someone pls tell me why I don't get new quests from Lightkeeper, it's been like 1 week since I completed his first quest and he always says he is working on smt 🤷🏻
Lighthouse is completely bugged still. DSPT doesn't work properly. Awarded crafts aren't given. Unlock rewards aren't given. It's a total mess. BsG said they fixed it. They didn't.

Hey so, am i missing something here? Ive been playing pve and have had almost 0 issue for loot. I do think looklt needs to be rare espicially for thr fact youre not worried about other players thats just me. Im loving the pve experience so far def needs some work but i suck at pvp so i have at the moment zero intention going back at the moment.
Id love to see goons spawn a lil less like 20% spawn rate would be great.
Also gas analyzers have been challenging to find other wise im really enjoying it.
The only downgrade from the previous patches before PvE went Local was the extremely long queue times for a raid as a solo. Otherwise, yeah, I agree with you.
If this sort of thing, how bsg nerfed the loot into oblivion, is a shocker... Then you probably don't pay attention to how BSG does things. BSG will nerf something into the ground to the point where no one uses it. Then, after months, or sometimes years of players complaining they will buff it (But they never do a good job, usually whenever they buff something it's CRAZY), and it will be completely broken for a few days/weeks. You need to capitalize on this, especially now with PVE. Anytime they buff ANYTHING. You need to farm the every loving shit out of it before they nerf it to the ground, which WILL happen. It's an endless cycle. You will 100% see this again in the future.
Basically, AI PMCs currently act as wallhack+aimbot cheaters in PVP, just slightly dumber.
The reason they buffed the loot was because people complained it was too stingy, and that was literally like two months ago, yes we're beta testers but it's clearly known at this point the stingy loot is hated by everyone

100% noticed the loot nerf. Jesus christ can we please just HAVE FUN playing this game and not get skull fucked by AI. I take like 400-500 rounds of ammo in raid just to get 1 tapped by an SKS scav near extract
So good to know I've purchased the base game and can play PVE on spt howhever o want, with the bots i want, with 3x everything on the game. No reason whatsoever to purchase the PvE, specially when there are coop mods for those who want it
I feel like BSG adjusting stuff is like an on/off switch.
I agree and said the same thing when I played a few raids I have about 4K hours in PvP and level 51 in pve the loot nerf was so overkill makes maps like interchange not even worth running if u don’t have any quest there definitely an L update

We're playing a niche game, we don't need tribalism within the playerbase. More options I feel is a good thing for the single player experience but I don't think the economies should be shared - if I'm playing on the easiest settings, I shouldn't be able to trade on the flea with those on the hardest settings - there should be balance in that sense at least, easy mode trades with easy mode, hardcore players with hardcore players.

I saw someone mention that it looks like they made it equivalent of offline raid loot... which sucks. I hope it's a bug that they broke fixing the other offline stuff, but I'm guessing not. I don't care if they nerf some of the ridiculous runs (i.e. Marked) but nerfing it across the board sucks. I loved feeling like Interchange was an actual mall with stuff scattered all over.
Also, I 100% agree with your idea to add difficulty settings and adjust the loot accordingly.

I wouldn’t be so sure. They were under the assumption that they fixed that issue already and still needed the loot along with the fix. Unless of course they knew it was not fixed completely and just assumed we wouldn’t find the new way so fast or at all? Wouldn’t be surprised by that actually.
Is there still a way to have raids with no AI? If so how i havent seen any new way to do it
@@minneman9137 it was working last night, just had to do it slightly different. verybad scav had a video on it... Saw a new video out (did not watch) indicating that the work around is now fixed
when Nikita found out everyone was having fun and getting loot, he nerfed the loot and turned on tagged and cursed soon as you killed something,
And military power filters are stupid. list one for 15m. Out of curiosity i went to list 10 for 15m and it was 100m in fees.
I think PVP players had never meet this PVE chaos, infinite SCAV spawns, GOONS, PMC, BOSS, all rush to you at dorms.
Yeah sometimes the infinite spawn goes uncontrol will be like this, leaves you inevitable death, unless you bring tons of ammo and medics to tank this.
Plus now these AI got buffed, AI already aggro you when you and AI can't see each other, the accuracy meter already going up.

Harder AI would be great if they were tactical. Now its just just to figure out how to exploit them and avoid veing laser beamed lol.
I'm giving this game a break. From battling cheaters and now BSG nerved loot instead of fixing A.I is dumb. I think BSG is trying to force ppl back to pvp because of cheaters running ramped. Maybe one day I'll come back once bsg gets it's shit together.

what's so frustrating about these recent patches is that 14.9.5 was a disaster, and instead of fixing the actual problems with the game over this past week they lasered onto fixing exploits that realistically dont matter, then nuke the loot for everyone, and to top it off we probably won't see fixes for another two months if we're lucky.
loading into spt with a handful of ai mods and the difference is night and day, but i shouldnt have to resort to setting up spt for a proper pve tarkov.

not to mention the insane desync issues with this patch, 3 raids at streets in a row killed by invisible pmcs yesterday before quitting for the day
maybe the hotfix today fixed it but i doubt it
i don't like the scav army on customs with 8 pmcs once you get caught by 1 ai if they notice you they all run you down. you have to change location after each kill and move with out being in sight line. as a old returning player this is just not it. i tried it and maybe in a couple of years after 1-10 patches to the ai code i will return but tarkov is dead once again. i can't have all the maps ai hunt you down as soon as one finds you. and the goons if a map has the goons i can't play it for they will hunt and kill me all the time.
The loot is great, especially in PVE. I personally even thought there was a bit too much before. I'm no longer happy about loot when it's thrown at me. You have 573 million, maybe the loot was a bit much? ;-)

The PVE is ridiculous. They still haven't fixed the AI fighting each other, but they patched the ability to turn off AI today. Wrong frigging priorities.
Boss spawn rates are still too high, i cant run a factory without tagilla bashing me dead ...Alternatively i get rushed by the goons about 104% of raids on maps they can spawn ...
they should add the option whether you want them to spawn or not
I decided to stop playing PVP cause it was cancer dealing with cheaters and hoping the 1 ESP cheater in the lobby leaves me alone. PVE came out and i was excited to play then they nerfed the loot. How is it worth fighting for anything given how the AI have wallhacks and the AI pmcs dont even fight other AI factions?
I'm kind of ok dealing with the BS of the AI in the game cause the loot is worth it. But now?

i wouldn’t say nerfed, i found 3 bitcoins , two gpus and a ledx all in one raid! plus the usual black blue stim rooms. ledx almost every third raid. i could just be extremely lucky.

I get you got some good loot.. but the 9/10 times you run a marked room its trash or any previous valuable runs like blue/black/green giving 10-15 stims and some random meds just feels bad. I'd say you got EXTREMELY lucky. Unless you're getting all of those out of containers.. because ground loot has been shafted but you still get a better chance at crate loot because of skills

I've done 9 labs runs today. I'm going into black and it's feast or famine. So erratic.
I did find 7 far forward and 3 advanced over the 9 raids though so that's not seemingly nerfed?
I'll never forget the feeling I got from the first tarkov raids. The sounds, the looks, the ATMOSPHERE, the fear. A very unique feeling that I've not encountered in any other games. I believe at least part of the reason is because of the hardcore element and the uncertainty. This is the feelings i hope every tarkov player can relate to and that I want every new player to feel. If you allow modifying the settings and customizing the experience to you own content as you suggest, a lot of this would disappear. Low amount easy scavs equals less gear fear equals a whole another experience. A (small) part of me agrees with you in general, on the other hand - let tarkov be tarkov. Not everything is for everyone, nor should it be. If you don't like it, play something else. It's like asking FromSoft to make their games more accessible to the casual gamer, at which point it's no longer a true FromSoft game.
Man its annoying, You cant really play some maps alone because you re just shitted on with scavs rogues and pmcs, like i just played a round and me and by buddy had to fight in totel 40+ enemies and we coudln't even cross a quarter of the map due to all the combat and now the loot is dogshit.
Its dogshit, like you get shitted on and if you make it to your point of interest if you make it there despite the shitton of enemies then there is no loot.
Then PMC and Rogues have a godlike aimbot even on grenade launcher and especially on grenade launcher turret first bullet one taps you over 400m. What is this.
I quitted tarkov pvp long ago... now I have quit pve... the game just does not worth our time. They keep fucking and fucking the game... everything they do is just destroy the game... I wish they sell bsg to serious people.

Pve needs to be dragged out, less xp, less loot to drag out the experience and keep people playing / invested. otherwise what is the point in playing if you have 570mil? You can buy and do whatever you want, finish the tasks then the game is over, you escaped tarkov lol
I've played about 450hours of PVE at this point which is why I have so much money. Most casual players are not going to have anywhere near this amount of hours in just PVE etc. I think the loot was not bad other than certain routes such as the marked rooms and the rusted key room which could make you tens of millions with minimal effort.
Bro it’s people in PvP who get max traders and 20 30 mill in stash 2 weeks into wipe pve u are not really effecting anyone it’s not like u have a massive advantage over a level 10 Timmy gear and ammo wise who cares
@@NutshellExperience yeh bro that just comes with knowledge of play tho, maybe they just have to reduce spawn rates of keys? As in pvp the rusted keys is almost impossible to find as cause all players check for it etc but pve it’s just you, that’s why the loot can seem too much also.
Or low key just remove flee market from pve? Make everyone have to find the keys etc I feel like that’d be more enjoyable, especially long term

The game is about going into raids and having fun.
Doing the same 50 side quests every 6 months is dogwater, unfun game design.
The entire reason many people play PvE is so that their time and efforts are *REWARDED.*

This is the exact argument that has ruined every game that has been changed to placate “casual” players… Tarkov is ment to be a hardcore survival game not minecraft ! The bots are not ai , they are preprogrammed bots. They have crappy design and don’t behave in realistic way. In saying that an easy fix would be that they cannot target the head hit box for 20 shots or some number of shots. These same people complaining bitched that they couldn’t play pvp so bsg gave made pve mode and now they are bitching that they can’t kill bots ?…. Trash

I don’t think these videos are providing anything positive to the PVE community. The game has been waaaaaay too easy. Nothing is hard to fight, making money is not hard, earning XP is not hard. They’re trying to find a balance point so the gameplay can be extended but still fun. Farming content off of every change they make doesn’t provide anything valuable overall.
There is different way of hards. There is hard by ai headshotting you over hundreds of meters through bushes, and there is hard by the ai playing smart baiting you etc. What "hard" do you think current pve is closer to?
@@GottHoldNicetomeet Neither, now this is just personal experience, you can also watch me play, I’m TERRIBLE at the game and FPS in general compared to people who get to play on a regular basis. However, out of hundreds of raids my survival rate is beyond 75% and that was when I checked a couple weeks ago and I’ve probably only died 2 times since then so it might be higher. The AI is horrible but outside of maybe, lighthouse where it seems like the AI play different, it’s super easy to outplay them and not die.
@@johnallen8043 On Lighthouse if any rogue gets triggered the grenade launchers and heavy machine gun turret will kill you accross the map. no matter how many bushes or trees are there. If you re lucky you have a solid structure infront of you, so all their shells and grenades hit that instead if you.

I kind of disagree... part of the thing that has been lost in this game since streets came out is rarity of loot... you used to find a gcard and freak out... now if you found one you were like ehhh wheres the second one to make this worth... it has been tooooo easy
its pve but its still tarkov and bsg still has an intended experience. This game, pve or pvp, isnt supposed to be a casual game and you arent supposed to make millions of rubles per raid. Especially after found in raid change where you can just find a high value item, ass it and die and still sell on flea. Just because its now PvE doesnt mean the game changes...you are playing escape from tarkov on a crude basic build of a pve mode...it will get better but it will still be tarkov. If you want to have infinite money and change all your loot spawns etc etc then download sp tarkov and mod your perfect experience.
Or how about fpr the people that abused the bug ban them from the flea market for a week or 2, not everyone should be punished for those who ruined the game for the rest. And yes if you did this you ruined it when mpf are 20m

I dont understand why they nerfed loot in PVE. Who was complaining about too much loot? If people were happy why change it? 😐 Honestly the best thing they could do with PVE now
Its local host would be to just let people set their own options and play how they like. Add an option to change between high medium and low loot. They could even add an option to turn off the raid time. If they intend to unlock unlimitted raid time on full release as stated before, why not let PVE players test that?
