Honestly I doff my hat for Osupa Saheed. This guy is too much. Education is power. His is probably the most highly educated to best of my knowledge among the Fuji musicians to date and I think Adewale Ayuba. Saheed at a time was pursuing a degree program either in LASU or Unilag. He is versatile, creative, with uncommon superior IQ, God bless you OSUPA. I was in Amukoko-Safejo in the 90s and I did not know the guy was that good. We only respect the talent of the late Ilori but each time I listen to OSUPA interview the voice is as unique as if he is in the studio. God bless you bro.I'm a minister of the Gospel but I'm a fanatical fan of Barrister Ayinde up till now and now I will begin to listen to OSUPA music.Shalom

Anyway to answer your reponse, not every graduate or those who go to university are called academics but only those who has taken teaching and research as profession (a teacher or scholar in a college or institute of higher education) which i think "Dr. Osupa" do not belong although i respect the level of intellectualism in his music. This has been my problem with so many of us. English language is not our mother tongue but we need to get proper meaning of word before making a comment. Please do not take offence for this. Osupa is very gifted and unique, any good Fuji music lovers will confirm that, but when he mentioned that he is the “King of Fuji” then kini Wasiu Ayinde? Just wondering ni oo.. Plus the truth must be told, Saheed Osupa now getting to a stage where he can be called overweight, the face, the stomach is no no for me.. Before it’s too late, hopefully he will work on that. Having said all that, he is definitely a genius in his own way. ✌️
