@NigbatiTV I am so impressed by this interview, please do keep it up. You are indeed an inspiration to humanity and a great help to these amazing individuals who impacted our history culturally. Kindly keep it up. How can one reach you too?
Thanks for the suggestion. We have it in our plan. We were in talk with him before his death. On the 30th of December when we called to check on him, he was in high spirit and promised to do an exclusive for his fans, when he's back on his feet, but God knows best. May his soul rest in peace.
On the issue of Ayinla Omowura, Tajudeen Pele claimed he joined the band in 1981, but Ayinla Omowura died in 1980. It would be safe for him to say he heard of what happened between the two rather than speaking like an eyewitness.
I disagree with Pele on his comments about Kollington Ayinla. Kollington has always been a super star.. There might be altercations which were not unexpected. Kollington records have always been receiving public recognition and acceptance. Both artistes are great in their respective capacities. The comment was disparaging! I know that the anchor person is a die-hard fan of Barrister which I think is a normal phenomenon but should stop manipulating his guests in talking about Kollington in u complimentary ways. That would always be quite unprofessional! Taju initially spoke about other musicians relationship wirh Barrister but restrained himself from further comments. He forced Taju to voice out the gibberish. He did the same thing with Obey's drummer. He influences them to ioverhype Barrister's image while discountenancing that of Kollington. Much as the anchor is doing great by promoting reminiscences among the legends, he should be a bit more professional, and stop armtwisting his guests in speaking well about Barrister.
Ogbeni Abayomi, Thank you for your comments. Every organization needs the feedback of dedicated viewers like you to evolve. If you have been following our history, NigbatiTV has thrived on traditional TV platforms before venturing into sharing our niche of showcasing and preserving Yoruba entertainment history with our teeming and dedicated audience across the globe. As a result, our guests list and questions asked is majorly driven by feedbacks and quests from our traditional TV and online viewers. Our anchor is a die-hand fan of all genres of Yoruba music from Apala, to Fuji and the new Afrobeats. Our team is made of professionals who have paid their dues in many facets of life, hence we would never engage in tarnishing the name, image or work of any individual living or dead. We have no interest in sensational news, hence our modus operandi is to give our viewers all they are interested in knowing without judging or playing the blame game on anyone. Our interviews are driven by many factors behind the scenes, hence some of offerings are long, short or average length. We don't force anyone to say what they are not comfortable with saying. Neither do we go into controversial discussions that might put our guests in bad spots. Once again, we thank you for your comments and encouragement.
Thank you for the observation, he is making false claims on Kollington and Ayinla Omowura. One should expect the interviewer to know that Omowura died before Tajudeen Pele joined the band

Instead of you to give microphone to your guest, you dominated it.
The guest has a lapel mic just below his chin. Thanks
Please look out for Kolawole Kasim and bring him on this program, we need to see him.
