- "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" was actually derived from a song called "Mbube" ("lion" in Zulu) which was written and recorded by South African musician and singer Solomon Linda 1939. Linda's family sued The Walt Disney Company in 2004 for copyright violation.

Very nicely done in terms of giving an underrated song the slowed and reverb treatment.
Actually sounds more uplifting and energetic than the original if I might.
And if anything. You should see about uploading more songs from the soundtrack "Rhythm Of The Pride Lands- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhythm_of_the_Pride_Lands in the slowed and treatment (Not He Lives In You).
Those songs from that album being done in slowed and reverb treatment would sound pretty nice.
